eclipse in oz
No worries, mate! The powerful Total Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on November 13, 2012 takes place in OZ, the great Down Under. And because Australia's Aboriginal lands are energized by the eclipse, we are tapping into some of the most mystical and life-giving energies on the planet.
In the wake of the spiral of a massive hurricane (the same spiral that can be found in the shape of galaxies), we meet another spiral - the ancient sacred spiral art of the aborigines. The eclipse shadow sweeps across the spiral, lighting it up in our consciousness. In the quiet Eye of both the Hurricane and the Divine Lotus
Crown of Scorpio, the spiral rises and converges, activating the Human Divine Mind, deeply connected to the land, to the Dreamtime and to the Living Spirit.
Note: Click here http://conta.cc/VKrRPQ to read my previous newsletter discussing the similar spiral manifested in galaxies and hurricanes.
In addition, eclipse Saros series (the family groupings of eclipses) has a spiral pattern when viewed from the pole! See picture at right.
As mentioned in Part 2 of this newsletter, here is the path of the eclipse: The shadow of this eclipse first touches earth in Australia, in Arnherm Land at the northeast corner of the Northern Territory. The Arnherm Region was declared an Aboriginal Reserve in 1931, one of Australia's largest known for its isolation and its people's strong traditions and art. The Yolngu people of the northeast are one of Australia's largest indigenous groups.

the ancestors
Aboriginal consciousness brings us to the Power of the Ancestors (this is a Pluto in Capricorn theme). This is perhaps the most primal ancestral energy that we know of in history.
Since this Total Solar Eclipse is in the sign of Scorpio, the sign associated with the ancient Celtic feast of Samhain when it is said that the veil between the worlds is thinnest and that we can easily communicate with those who have crossed over the veil. The remnants of this ancient holiday can be found in the secular celebration of Halloween as well as in the Mexican festival of the Day of the Dead - both of which occur when the Sun is in Scorpio.
And so, one of the most profound messages of this eclipse has to do with tapping into the Wisdom of the Ancestors, asking them for help, and committing to the Return to integrity, and to the practice of enduring, honorable activity that stands the test of time and sustains the future.

eye of the spiral dream
(The picture at right is represents the Yinaagalangbu Songline/ Womens Songline by TIRIKEE aborignal artist. See the next section for information on Songlines)
This eclipse opens us to powerful Dreaming. With Neptune in Pisces since March of 2012, the power of our dreams has been growing. More people are dreaming, in many different ways, and desiring to live their dreams. Spirit speaks to us in dreams. The Dreaming of the Aboriginals was a profound act of Creation and was handed down by the ancestors in order to preserve an unbroken line with Divine wisdom. We can Dream a new world into existence. Pay attention to your dreams. Lucid dreaming might be an illuminating meditative exercise at this time.

songlines & climate change
Aboriginal art also has encoded geographical information. "The pictures had accompanying songs that others could use to navigate with even if unfamiliar with the terrain. The songs themselves can encode information about the surrounding environment. A knowledgeable person is able to navigate across the land by repeating the words of the song, which describe the location of landmarks, waterholes, and other natural phenomena. In some cases, the paths of the creator-beings are said to be evident from their marks, or petrosomatoglyphs, on the land, such as large depressions in the land which are said to be their footprints." (Wiki) "
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy and the emerging awareness of climate change, the message from the Ancestor's Dreaming reminds us that a deep reverence for and connection to the land is glaringly absent in our world. Tuning in to encoded geographical information and awareness of the ley lines of power on this planet would allow us to hear the song from nature which would alert us when things are out of balance. This is something that we can tap into again if we choose to. The land is alive. Listen to it breathing. Guidance comes through its Song. Sing it back. Dream-travel across the land in the bliss of divine conscious connection to all creatures that walk about the earth.

FOCUS ON
For meditation practice, you can use the picture at the top and bottom of this email which is an Aboriginal spiral, in alignment with the energy of the path of this Eclipse and its spiral patterns over time, as well as the spiral of the hurricane. The Aboriginal Ritual Chant also at the top and bottom of this newsletter provides wonderful prayer and mantra for this time.
In addition, listening to the Didgeridoo - an ancient Aboriginal instrument which was used to sing the Songs - can help you to tune in to the energy of this eclipse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC9w4KWEgJE (Google Didgeridoo for many more songlines of Didgeridoo music)
And here is a video of Hurricane Sandy's spiral consciousness which can help us to tune in to the message from the land during this time of climate crisis: THE SPIRAL IN MOTION: Sandy From Space: NASA Time Lapse Captures Life And Death Of Superstorm (VIDEO) http://huff.to/VKt75n
In your Dreaming weave together the spiralic Eye of the Hurricane, the all-seeing Eye of Ancestral Wisdom in the Aboriginal Spiral, and the deep transformative power of the Lotus Crown of the Eye of the Scorpion. Your Higher Mind can be activated and you can plug in to both the ancient wisdom and the progressive path of the future - a continuing spiral upward in the evolution of consciousness. Consciousness ascends in Spirals.

Forever Oneness,
Who sings to us in silence,
Who teaches us through each other,
Guide my steps with strength and wisdom.
May I see the lessons as I walk,
Honor the purpose of all things.
Help me touch with respect,
Always speak from behind my eyes.
Let me observe, not judge.
May I cause no harm, and leave
Music and beauty after my visit.
When I return to Forever,
May the circle be closed and
The spiral be broader.
