taking a deep breath
I know that what is being recommended, in terms of self-love, is so very right. And I have tried to apply my love to myself, unconditionally. But I know my self-love hasn't reached the core of me yet.
It would be entirely helpful if there were some "exercises" to do to knock my own doors down. My self-loathing goes back to before I had engaged the part of my brain that helps with language, so using meditations and mantras doesn't seem to penetrate that part. Hmmmmm, in writing about it, I seem to be getting an idea....
Maybe visualizations would work for me, visions of my higher self snuggling the infant me??? Feeding me and caring for me???
Ok, I'll try that and report back.
