Heavenletter #4681 ~ A Mirror of Yourself

Not too long ago a man I know was struggling with his life and asked me for guidance. I asked him what he had done to guide himself. He had no answer but, he persisted in my insight. I warned him the answers I give may not be very pleasing and will sound really hurtfulI, are you sure you want me to tell you the truth? "YES!" I asked him, "are you your own man belonging to no one else?" He replied, "yes." I then told him this was his problem. This is the lie that you keep as a truth. You are dependent upon others for your exsistance. If they do not show up you are too lazy to pick yourself up and move on. You have said many times to me, if so and so went away you would just die. Well, that became your wish and your prayer. Unless you change your mind soon, you will die soon. You should leave this person to become who they are destined to become. You are a parasite upon that life. If you desire to be healed of this inability to move forward in health and happyness you must walk away from the illusion. He burst out in tears and screamed why would I say such a thing? To which I replied, "your greatest fear was that I would tell the truth. You shouldn't be surprised your prayer came true. But, when you have obvious needs you make a half hearted wish for them to come true, never really expecting anything to happen. So, nothing happens. The request/prayer with the greatest emotion always gets answered. Fear is a really strong emotion. Only truth and love can overcome this. You have been told the truth but, in your fear and love of that fear, now the messenger will get the blame for your addiction to fear today.  There was someone else listening to what was being said in this conversation. The man I was speaking to simply was not ready to lift himself up. He wanted me and everyone else in his life to do that for him. Deaf ears. This message got thru to at least 2 others who heard. These folks took to heart their truth and are standing up all on their own. The greatest burden anyone can put upon another being is to tell them that you are their everything, their world. If anything ever happened to you they would curl up and die. This is not love. Parents do this to children. Lovers to it to their mates. Dog owners do it to their dogs. It is a mess. Haaa! But, every once in a while someone gets it and is able to lead by example.
