It is illegal to even 'imagine' overthrowing the Queen

It is becoming evident to me that George Orwell's novel ''1984'' was not so much a dark tale of a dystopian future police-state, but rather a how-to manual that is currently being followed step-by-step.

  What the Queen is insisting upon here, is the idea that there is such a thing as a Thought Crime.
