Certainly, you were born to your mother from her union with your father. Yet you go back further than that. The question hovers: What brought you to live here and not there? What juxtaposition brought you forth? From what planet were you brought forth? What series of events brought you where you are at this time and place? What exquisiteness of life made you exactly you and not someone else?
Out of how many molecules were you chosen as this particular formulation and not the one before it or after it?
It may be said that it is a question of chance, yet I have stated there are no accidents in the world even as it seems full of them. I tell you again that there are no accidents. You were chosen as you. Therefore, you were chosen, and you have a purpose in this Universe. Therefore, you have a service to perform. Therefore, you are valuable. That is a given. There is no riff-raff. There are no poor choices, no matter how it may look like to you.
Every birth is a Divine Birth Divinely Chosen. No matter whether you were well-received or poorly-received, this is true. I chose you. I was the first to choose you. And I choose well. You can not be an accident of birth. No such thing. If you were born to Earth, you were designated. You are supposed to be here.
You are limited only in that you will be a human being. Otherwise, the sky is the limit.
A gladiola can only be a gladiola. A dandelion can only be a dandelion. You can only be a human being. Which human being you would be and into which family you would be born is not a chance occurrence.
The winds and birds and all of nature may determine where a flower grows. This does not seem of great importance to you whether a daisy grows in one field or another or between which crack in a cement step a dandelion grows. Yet, of course, it is of great importance to you where you are born and to whom. You have relationships that affect your life, and one thing leads to another.
You are a human being. Everything is more involved for you than for a rose. Everything depends upon everything else. Most of all, everything depends upon you. You have a mobility. Your destiny is up to you. You have say. You have the freedom to choose where you go from here. You can reverse your choices. You can make a fortune, or you can lose a fortune. A rose does not have the choices you have. All the choices you have are your blessing, and yet more choices make your life more complex.
You have instincts, yet your instincts are not so clear, for you are given True Free Will. Your life is not marshaled for you.
And you wonder if you really do have free choice. If your life is your destiny, how then can it be that you have free will?
Beloveds, your free will is your destiny. You do have decisions to make. Your decisions are your destiny. Even your perceived accidents, on some level, you choose them, or you chose them before the choice was consciously before you. Your Free Will sets up your Destiny. You set yourself up for every interaction. You choose your fate, even as you don’t know what you are doing.
At any moment, you are free to choose again. You see, and you choose. When you have chosen a certain course, you can also reset your course. You cast your vote. And you can cast another vote. You can change your vote. You make what are called wise choices, and you can also make choices you rue, and so you can change your vote.
Ultimately, this is what you do.
