th his viewpoint directed to the heavens. One of the major themes here is about letting go and trusting in the Universe, and having the courage to surrender to your higher, divine will, rather than the letting the physical realm ego-self call all the shots. In the image, the hanged man hangs from a tree by his ankle, and is free leg is bent at the knee, crossing over the hanged leg, so that it makes the form of the number 4. The number 4 represents the earthly realm, the tangible manifest realm governed by the 4 directions. The 4 appears upside down, illustrating the fact that the material realm is but a reflection of the true reality, the spiritual realm above. He is telling us that when we come to realise and understand this fundamental truth, we can put our total trust in the divine to help direct us in the earthly world. To consciously let go and allow the unconscious to take the reigns is a complete reversal of what we are taught in daily life, it is a risk that the logical mind must take, and the challenge that meets you today!
