Hi,
I've been reading the GFP newsletters for a few years and never hung out here. I was born on the Mediterranean sea and lived in a few places, Japan and now the southwest of the US near LA. The picture I chose is interesting. I turned out to be a communicator in this life.
I don't follow much but learned a few things. I find peace in Dzogchen and Taoism. I find my inner guidance has worked well throughout my life. I only messed up when I felt I needed to buckle down and have a more serious job/life. I've made myself and my wife miserable for the past 15 years. I relied on my intellect and let go of my intuition. A good lesson to learn. I'm learning to retrust my inner guidance and my natural free being. It's not very easy after decades of doing the opposite. I guess I needed to see the other side of the coin, living in a lack-base and fear life. Now I know. I want out :) I also developed compassion and empathy. That's cool.
It's not as easy getting out of your way and out of what you started believing in. I'm learning how and it's tough. I am finished with my thought patterns. They no longer serve me. I'm waiting, going in, and trying to find my way back to myself. I never thought it would be such a gigantic task. Everything used to be so easy. I hope to rekindle that.
I am a curious being :) I hope to hear from other like-minded folks out there.
Great to hear and welcome to
I couldn't agree more, Will.

I think at some point for someone who is naturally inclined to feel and sense, visiting the intellect side of the brain is an interesting journey to take. Now that I've seen it, I know, I respect it, and I no longer need to dwell in it.
On the funny side of things, I found a great art that balances both hemispheres. Mosaic works with both, one keeping tabs on how the pieces fit while the other focuses on patterns. It's been such a fantastic discovery and very soothing.
Cheers,
