The force of love is a power to be reckoned with. Love is a power. It is a power for good. Who would want less than a power for good? Who would want to keep all the odds and ends of life that you may have kept to pour over and perhaps collect more of?

Another name for love is Good Will. Good Will is good enough. Have one department in your life, and let it be Good Will. Then you will have Vast Good Will.

Be a Being of Good Will. No more stand-offs in life. Now Good Will. Let Good Will be your reason for Being. Be good-hearted and good-willed. What more can you ask for from life than that? Anything else is less. Be one who wants more and gives more. Let all that you will be Good Will and nothing but Good Will. Of course, it is My Will that you take the High Road.

God said: 

Even as time does not exist, now is time for you to cease being disappointed in yourself. You know exactly what I mean. You are hard to please. There is no end to the fault you find in yourself. Often you ask yourself: "Why did I do that? Why did I say that? Why didn't I this and why didn't I that?" Your list is endless. It may begin with: "Why is my nose shaped this way?" to "Where has the love in my heart gone?"

Or you may project your plaints with yourself upon others: "What is the matter with those people? Look what so and so said." You may not like the sound of someone's voice, and you hold it against him or her.

Like yourself more. Be content more with yourself, and you will perceive life, and your life, quite differently.

What you really complain about, what your axe is to grind, stems from your attitude toward yourself.

You have picked on yourself enough. You have picked on the world enough. Desist piling on your plaints on yourself and on others. It has been so easy for you to find fault. You can pick at anything.

You do know the cure, beloveds. Count your blessings. Make a different kind of assessment.

You may like to think that you are being noble to acknowledge what you would like to change about yourself. Stop acknowledging, and change then.

I have never forsaken you. You may have wandered off from yourself, but I wander from you, never. I gave you life. I sent you on your way. I have never left you. I am always been right with you. I have never veered from you. There is something you are looking for and have not yet gotten in your mind's grasp. Therefore you think you are missing something.

There is something in you that makes you look outside you. You look for Me outside you. You look for proof of Me, and you are bereft when you don't find it. You may even think: "God has betrayed me. He certainly has let me down."

Thoughts flit in and out of your mind. Your thoughts are like angels who fly in and out of your sight. Is not an angel a spark of light? And are not thoughts the same? More and more your thoughts are growing to be as sparkling as angels. I pronounce you an angel, so why would it seem surprising that your thoughts serve the Universe? You have hidden your wings from yourself, or, you have not looked. I have looked, and I have seen.

You may see yourself as a struggling human being, waylaid with the sundry matters that human beings are waylaid with. What you see as weighing you down are triumphs, beloveds. I take your arm and raise it and say: "The winner is YOU." Will you hear Me?

All that comes to you is a splendid opportunity. You've heard that before, and you shake your head. You shake your head vehemently, for you have been attached to suffering, attached to calling your growth suffering of one kind or another. You have held yourself under a dark umbrage, and, now, you are setting yourself free.
