Ascension is the most important event that any of us have faced or will face in countless lives. Given how near Ascension is, SaLuSa says, “if you desire to seize this opportunity to get out of the 3rd. dimension, you do need to ensure you know what is needed of you.” (1)

I’ve said on numerous occasions that I don’t think it will be hard for decent people to ascend. But maybe I should back that assertion up with evidence from our sources. Let’s do that now.

First of all, as SaLuSa tells us, Ascension as an event “is a certainty, and nothing can take that opportunity away from you.” (2) But Diane of Sirius reminds us that taking oneself out of duality is a goal that “does not come easily.” (3) It remains our “responsibility to lift yourself up as no one else can do it for you,” SaLuSa advises. “They can help but in the final reckoning it is your decision that will determine how you progress.” (4)

Matthew Ward informs us that Ascension is a matter of choice and science rather than judgment and arbitrary selection.

Our sources have told us that the re-election of President Barack Obama is important to the unfoldment of the master plan for the Golden Age. If Mitt Romney were elected, it would not be terminal to that plan, but would present challenges. It has always been intended that Barack Obama lead America into the Golden Age and be a significant player on the world stage as well.

In this series I’d like to look at what Matthew Ward has said on subjects like the opposition against Obama and Obama’s role in coming events. Let’s look first at the nature of the opposition to the President.

Let’s begin by looking at where President Obama first became aware of the enormity of the task facing him.

“After assuming office, President Obama was briefed on information he had no way of knowing prior to that time, and to continue our analogy, each of the briefers had only a few puzzle pieces. Furthermore, Obama was faced with a dire global economic situation that purportedly started with ‘toxic’ mortgages in the United States, and he needed a knowledgeable, experienced team who could take immediate steps to prevent worldwide collapse.

I was chatting with a couple of friends who are doing concentrated work on other fronts and two subjects were raised, both of which must be the LaBrea tar pit for lightworkers and especially for lightworker commentators.

The first is how to handle the extremes of waiting we’ve been asked to manage. And the second is how to bring peace to areas of the world that are tightly contracted and conflicted.

I think some people may believe that I’m not as dismayed by the Long Wait as everyone else is. I am dismayed.  I’m also aware of what one of my friends said, which is that complaining invites contraction and takes us further away from what it is we want. But I do feel like complaining, no doubt about it.

And at the same time I also know that we’re only talking about events that are more huge and complicated than anything we can possibly imagine. And I also know that I’m simply responding to my vasanas connected with being kept waiting. And I know further that the energies are so delicious these days that my complaints are mostly burnt rope, mere shadows of their former selves.

I find myself a little saddened today, feeling a mite not up to the task, after having chatted with a lightworker about President Obama.

It feels like the work of countering the cabal’s propaganda machine is almost impossible.

You remember the series of articles some years ago about how large the security apparatus in the United States (and probably in other “western democracies” as well) had grown after 9/11? Huge. And now, because of 9/11, these agencies were no longer being paid out of the proceeds of the international drug trade or currency manipulation, but with taxpayers’ dollars.

Many rumors circulate at the moment, including from prominent lightworkers, that negative aliens remain around the planet and that dark underseas bases still exist.

The last remnants of the cabal are busy selling the story that we face an imminent ET invasion beyond the limits of imagination and that Iran is in the last stages of developing a nuclear weapon and must be stopped.

Chinese warships face American warships off the coast of California, represented by some well-known lightworkers as an action against negative ETs. Archangel Michael explained what was really occurring in An Hour with an Angel on Sept. 17, 2012:

“It is about posturing. It is about war games. Let us say what it is not about. It is not about any form of October surprise. It is not about an armed conflict. It is not about alien invasion! But there is a great deal of posturing that goes on between the Chinese and the US military, various military forces. And in this situation it is their navies.

A reader has asked: “In today’s [Sept. 19, 2012] update SaLuSa mentioned something that has us confused. It was stated that the expected changes for the New Age will now occur after Ascension. … If we are reading this correctly, it seems like SaLuSa just announced a huge change in the lineup!”

The reader wonders what the status is of NESARA, the new governments, Disclosure, etc., in view of SaLuSa’s remarks.

The key passage leading to his questions appears to be this one:

“Naturally the expected changes will commence very shortly, as the New Age must be launched so as to break up the old paradigm. The new one is waiting to be introduced, and its benefits are to be shared by you all. Completion cannot however take place until you have Ascended, as those who are the dark Ones are not to be the beneficiaries of that which is for those of the Light.”

Evidently Ascension has been known and planned for a very long time.  Melchizedek reminds us that the end times are the culmination of an evolutionary life cycle:

“At this juncture of Cosmic events, your World is drawing near to the end of one phase in its evolutionary life wave cycle and into a new beginning filled with hope, peace and harmony.

“These are the end times that have been prophesied many times in many ages past and now these times are upon you. You who read this are Ones who chose to be here in order to anchor the Light upon the Planet in preparation for these times.” (1)

“From the commencement of the last cycle over 12,000 years ago,” SaLuSa said in 2009, “it was known that it would be completed through the process of Ascension.”
