At each moment of time—the Now—you stand at the gateway to an infinite number of possible futures in higher dimensional space. This gateway is the Choice Point.

Some of these futures are more likely to occur than others. If you do nothing, one of these probable futures will play itself out in a fairly predictable, even mechanistic way.

But as a conscious being, you also have the ability to affect how the future unfolds. Your experience of this ability is the sensation of free will.

One of the ways you can exert a force upon this unfolding is to use explicit action. Another way is through the subtle force of Active Consciousness, which allows you to enable unlikely unfoldings to occur.

While humanity remains confused and in fear because of the continued ‘War On Terror’, some of the world’s leaders have taken steps to terrorize humanity even further. The policy above was announced as part of the US National Strategy to Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction in December 2002, and to this day, that statement remains a centerpiece of U.S. foreign policy. The document not only threatens nuclear retaliation to attacks on the U.S. but it goes even further to include preemptive strikes in so-called “appropriate” cases.

In one way, love is the most important factor of life, and you have been disappointed in love because of all you bet on it. Your great romances didn’t come through. You see each love as past and each past love as having left you bereft. Love did not stay. A loved one did not stay. True love in this lifetime did not come true for you. Love seems to you to be for other people and not for you.

You see a mix-up here between love and need.

Of course, the giving of love is essential. The receiving of love has swept over you. Your beef is that love didn’t stay with you. My darlings, it is you who must keep your heart beating love regardless of the outside circumstances. Where did your love go, beloveds? What did your love amount to? You held it tight, and yet the love you wanted did not stay. Another trial took its place and also fled the scene as if love could not be faithful to you. There is no going back. There is no finding past love any more. You don’t even know where your past loves are and why you were not given a lasting love. You never knew it would be this way, that love would beat you up.

Of all the mysteries known to us, there is one in particular that remains both incredibly elusive and frustratingly close to home: consciousness. Religions have formed over it, wars have been fought because of different claims regarding it (and still are), and scientist and sage alike have debated it down the ages. There is now even a question of whether or not our machines will one day be able to claim it.

Since the beginning there has been an infinite coveted quest for immortality. We see it in movies, books, and fantasies across the globe. In ancient cultures different practices are being used to achieve the path to immortality or the path to eternal life. But the question we are asking here today is.. is it possible? And if so, which path is the path to immortality?

As we know the meridians in our bodies are the energy pathways that link up to each chakra or meridian energy center and there are three “mainstream” teachings of these paths.

We will now look at three ancient teachings and the differences between them to discover which pathway we can use to achieve immortality.

The most epic battle in history is the ongoing tug-of-war between ego and spirit.  These two seemingly opposing forces that operate within us can cause a great deal of stress, confusion, and misery within us.  There seems to be three main outlooks on the battle between the ego and spirit that people seem to take:

1. The ego is a tool and is to be used, not forgotten

2. We are supposed to find balance in between the two and use them in harmony

3. The ego is supposed to be transcended
