Cognitive dissonance is the firewall that exists in most minds when confronted with a challenge to their basic beliefs about the world.  As it is human nature to avoid admitting being in error or having been duped, for most humans the ego zealously flees the admission to oneself of significant error.  Challenges to our worldviews or paradigms of belief are also quite jarring – they can unsettle our comfortable existence and lead us to question everything we held dear, and might even lead to psychological or spiritual crises when the consideration of being fundamentally in error is on the table.

As a result, the ego erects a series of firewalls to protect its fragility in order to maintain the schemas, or archetypal systems of symbols, that have been erected in the mind since birth.  These structures, even if manifestly in error, are still mysteriously propped up by the mind or ego because of the psyche’s desire for order and meaning – “everything in its place,” to quote Radiohead.  However, for those who enter arenas where the goal is to challenge these structures of belief, such as religion, philosophy or even alternative information, being open to the possibility of change is required.

The faster you can stop looking for ways to make yourself or others wrong, the faster the energy of complete acceptance will take hold and allow people to finally focus on what is gloriously right in each and every person on the planet. Acceptance supports freedom, which is the sweet nectar that allows every soul to self express in a way that is perfect for them. It is through that freedom that people will finally find their purpose and live the satisfying life expressions they were always meant to live. Don’t you want that for yourself and for others? UNI-VERSE  — ONE VOICE   Our main goal at this time is to assist each of you in remembering your true “roots” as spiritual beings. Once you understand how the creation process works, it will be much easier to make the changes you wish to see. This can be done literally in the “twinkling of an eye.”

What we wish to impart to you today is to find ways to create peace and harmony every moment of your day, no matter what frustrations are presented to you. As you learn more of the dishonesty and treachery imposed upon you from those in places of authority, it is imperative that you quickly move from anger to compassion. The energy of love flows freely; fear and anger glop together and can cause extensive problems. Before any worlds were created, all existed in a state of perfect love. There was no sense of time or space.

All that existed were like wispy clouds, floating in and out. There was no such thing as being an individual, all simply was One. There came a time when the essence of One wanted to experience “More” and through many eons, innumerable episodes of ‘Separateness, Individuality and Not-Love” have been experienced. Follow your intuition and allow yourself to walk along the path of discovery. Know that no thing you do is “wrong” or “bad.” All you do is simply an experience. Each of you is living a unique existence.

Medical Intuition is about using listening as a self-healing tool. There are times when we may feel out of sorts. For example, maybe our eyes are tired or a chronic illness has flared up. The idea underlying medical intuition is to use meditation and self-healing to connect with the physical body and find out what it needs. Sometimes, the body will ask for rest, a change in diet or even a change in attitude. We can all practice self-healing in this way. Medical Intuition can also help us uncover the emotional, physical or spiritual root of our problems so that we can make changes accordingly.

In our society we have a very two dimensional understanding of maturity. Most people define it as an accumulation of experiences that come through the process of aging. But this isn’t really true.

The truth is that maturity has very little to do with our external experiences, and everything to do with our inner processing of the world. Yes, you might have experienced a lot of challenges and hardships in life, but if you weren’t present and aware of what was happening and the way in which it could help you to learn and grow, all of your experiences simply turned into moments where you unconsciously and emotionally reacted, not maturing at all.

While we have no control over aging, we do play a part in our ability to mature. Maturity is something that comes with conscious intent; something that evolves as we become more aware. It isn’t how “knowledgeable” or “smart” we are either, as knowledge is a product of past fears, mental patterns, memories, reactions and illusory concepts of the self.

HJ: Expanding your consciousness is not so much about trying as it is about opening up to what’s already there.  All the answers you seek are within should you know how to look.  All the wisdom you need you already have should you know how to listen. And to make it really simple, the answer to those riddles is intuition.  Develop that and you tap into the realm of infinite possibility and unlimited abundance.
