“Now is always the time, and the fruit is always ripe. You just need to gather courage to enter into your inner forest.” ~ Osho
As it becomes clearer that the true identity of each human being on this planet is entirely unique and authentic and perfect the way it is, so it becomes clear how false those identity cards – or false layers if we are to be like onions, peeling away ingenuity within the self – really are, and how the realization of this eternal truth might lead us closer to uncovering the seed that contains our true selves.
Society teaches us not to wade through the falsehoods in order to discover this seed, but off load trucks of crap onto it; constantly dumping more spade-fulls of ego-centric candy over it to obscure it from the light and stunt its growth...

I was honored to meet Morton Lauridsen, a genius musician considered by many to be the world’s greatest living composer of choral music. He is widely respected for his stirring opus, “Lux Aeterna” (“Eternal Light”). Morton told me that one of his dear friends, a conductor who often conducts Lauridsen’s compositions, fell into a coma. After several weeks, doctors could not predict whether or not he would awaken.
Morton went to visit his friend, who was lying inert in a hospital bed. After a minute Morton began to gently sing the chorus of “Lux Aeterna.” Then, to onlookers’ astonishment, the patient raised his hand as if he were conducting a chorus. This was the first time the man displayed any activity since he had fallen comatose. Eventually he was resuscitated. (For a moving journey into Lauridsen’s music, watch the documentary Shining Night, available at innerharmony.com.)

The Pineal Gland or the ‘Seat of the Soul’ as described by Rene Descartes, is the focal point of our spiritual guiding system which makes us go beyond the five senses of rationality and become multisensory, tuned into and aware of higher dimensions of consciousness within a holographic cosmos. Cannabis or Marijuana among other psychedelics facilitates the activation of the pineal gland and helps turn on the third eye or the mind’s eye directing our spiritual evolution to wholeness.
The pineal gland, located in the centre of the brain, is about a quarter of an inch in size, reddish-gray, and weighs about one-tenth of a gram. Unlike other parts of the brain which come in pairs, the pineal gland is singular. Its location in the center of the brain and presence in other species indicates it is an older part of humanity’s evolutionary brain system.
The pineal gland is present in all lower [vertebrates]...

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder, but our idea of beauty over the past few decades has most definitely been programmed into us. Our youth are growing up with mass amounts of marketing around them, as they watch television and participate in life, they are constantly bombarded with a picture of “what is beautiful.” It’s a shame how our children grow up striving to achieve that particular look, and how they can be made to feel “ugly” if they do not fit the accepted model of what our corporations have defined as beautiful. As a result, our youth are not addressing their feelings and emotions, always being taught to look outside of themselves instead of within themselves for the answer.

“Knowing others is wisdom; Knowing the self is enlightenment; Mastering others requires force; Mastering the self needs strength” – Lao Tzu
I write about enlightenment so much because of its importance to the spiritual path, especially for the person who has unresolved habits and tendencies that keep them from raising their vibration. I’m not saying we shouldn’t take any advice we’re given with a grain of salt, however, and we should always be discerning with the things we learn, no matter who they come from.
Only the advice we receive from within should be taken with minimal discernment, and even when it comes to inner guidance, we’ll want to take what works for us and let the rest fall away.

Most school-aged children had the luxury of a two-week vacation over the winter holidays. Today, much to their chagrin (and probably their parents’ delight), they will be marching (In a straight line, please. Keep your hands to yourself!) back to school where they belong.
They will be back in the hallowed halls of learning, their ready brains poised to soak up education like the malleable little sponges that they are. Facts and numbers and grammar and literature and history and science being dumped continuously from now until Spring break into their minds, tamped down and packed together and ready to be regurgitated onto the test sheets required by state and federal governments for processing later in the year.
I’m cynical about compulsory education (and that might be stating it nicely).
Our minds can get stuck on a loop, repeating phrases that literally keep US stuck! I really noticed this the other day when another mum I met shared that they were planning on having another baby this year. I said: "We're trying too." Only suddenly it struck me - my tone was so gloomy! I may as well have said "We're stuck too, sad face sad face" OMG is this depressing tone the vibration I've been carrying on this topic?! Obviously yes! With fresh inspiration I took a leaf out of her book and re-launched the spring in my thought step. From that second on I decided to choose to correct my thinking: "We are planning on another baby too!" Ahhhh, that feels MUCH better!
Whether it is a thought keeping you stuck, or the thought is a manifestation of an underlying sticky emotional/energetic issue, (and it is ALL being revealed this powerful year) correcting a thought pattern loosens everything up in a good way. Try it right now with something you have been stuck on. The difference in feeling, and thus vibration, and thus what you can energetically allow vs push away is incredible.

“Condemnation without investigation is the highest form of ignorance.” - Albert Einstein
Refusing to open your mind to new ideas, however bizarre they might seem, is arguably the most serious impediment to human progress.
Let us examine this claim by reviewing the following points:
If we study the history of scientific discoveries we can often observe turning points where our understanding of our reality has been transformed even though these new theories had often originally been ridiculed and rejected. Time and time again throughout human history, these pioneers of new thinking have been condemned or even imprisoned...

Why do people choose to be born into this world? There are as many answers as there are people. Some come here to do something, to experience something, or to learn things they cannot outside this world. It is the same reason people play games or watch movies — they get to experience things they couldn’t otherwise.
Being alive on Earth in a physical body can be difficult. Life is like an obstacle course, weight training program, or crash course in a tough subject. Besides the fun and joy of being alive, there is also anger, fear, and suffering. But the negative stuff is what makes the game challenging and unique. Life is body-building for the soul, and the challenges we face in life are the weights that build up our spiritual muscles if we have the strength to handle them.
