Dr. Gupta: Cannabis Research In America Is A Distorted Picture

Cannabis is listed as a Schedule I drug in the United States, meaning it is believed by our government to harbor no medicinal uses, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and a high rate of addition, also despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

The US is asking for more research to be done on cannabis, but they’re not mentioning the fact that they’re dooming this research before it begins with ridiculous restrictions and obstacles.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta has been witness to this dysfunction, and also witness to the value of cannabis when he visited countries that fully support research into medical cannabis.

Dr. Gupta himself is reformed in terms of his thinking on cannabis. I’m thinking if he can do it, there are a lot of people in government that should be doing it too. The wonders that legal cannabis nationwide could do for people are incredible, from treating PTSD to long term, chronic pain from injury.

The Shift To Renewable Energy Must Not Be Delayed

When you look at the facts, renewable, clean energy sources like wind, tidal, solar and geothermal have the cards truly stacked against them. We rely on national authorities to take on the issue of bringing to us renewable energy, but they’re all bought and paid for by fossil fuel energy.

Still, that’s no excuse. Jason Silva in this video introduces us to The Solutions Project. It’s a push for science, business and culture to accelerate out transition to clean energy.

But it’s not just up to people in power or with money to take this on. It’s up to us too. One of the things we can do today is decrease the amount of energy we use in our daily lives. Remember to shut off lights, keep the thermostat below 68 degrees in the winter time, and ride your bike more often.

Together, we can do this.

How Meditation Changes The Body On A Cellular Level

A new study out of Canada shows hard evidence of the fact that meditation can change the human body at the cellular level. Canadian scientists found that the protein caps at the end of our chromosomes that denote cellular aging had not diminished at all in cancer survivors that opted to meditate daily. This draws a clearer mind-body connection than previously thought.

Meditation is good for a lot of things. We already know that meditation can assist you in strengthening the connections in your brain, but with this new study, the evidence of a mind-body connection is even stronger. Meditation might actually be useful in prolonging life and treating terminal illnesses.

In this article we will explore how the true teachings of Jesus can be summed up by three little words: you are God. Some missionaries came to my house the other day and I was given the opportunity to come face to face with the religious mind, to discover their relationship to God, and to remember my own (non-voluntary) experience with religion.

In such a short time though it was, it was absolutely clear that the foundational flaw of religion based off of the bible as it is primarily taught today (and in general, for the past 2000 years), is that it teaches first and foremost that we are separate from this force called God. But that is a contradiction because the bible, specifically the teachings of Jesus as I will clearly illustrate, teach that you are god, and that we are all God.

So, I have taken it upon myself to convince those missionaries, and you, that you are not only equal to God, but that you are God.
