Eli Lilly admits to more than $200 million dollars worth of doctor payoffs

I wrote an actual college paper on this exact topic - how the pharmaceutical company is bribing doctors and nurses so that they will push their pills.  Big pharma offers money, lavish dinners, cars, nice vacations disguised as continued education pursuits where the docs only are required to attend a few hours of the educational seminar for just one day in order for that to count and then the rest of the time they are living it up all expenses paid.  They are even given pens, posters and Rx pads that all advertise a certain pharma company.  The docs push the drugs of the companies perking them, even when it is NOT in the best interesting of the patient.  Extremely corrupt, and reletively speaking, well known, but of course, nothing is done to stop this disgusting bribery.
