A wise man once said: "You need the ego to catch your bus". I was taught, that the egoic structure's job was to identify. "The sun shines, the ego identifies." What would happen if our egos indentified with unconditional love, with divine light, with joy. What you identify with, you become, sooner or later. Is not the statement: "I am that I am" a self-identification? I say:" Instead of destroying the ego, let's make it transparent, so our Higher Self can come and work through it, and bring its blessings to all.

The fact is that the ego is an illusion, if one keeps identifying with an illusion all one identifies with will be, still, an illusion. The I AM is not in identification, it's your True Being re-emerging, and it has no attachments as it's already all and needs nothing more.

Yes, that makes sense. If you are already all, i.e. you see yourself in everything. Still, what is the part that says; I am that, to everything it sees?

This is a wonderful conversation!!!

... who are we?  And who is watching us be that?  The I AM is that core, that voice I hear in the early morning hours before the dream awakens, it is her that speaks truth for me.  She watches and always loves.  It is not she who "catches the bus" really, but her reflection, no?  She knows that it is only a matter of time when we walk as one, seamlessly together, no parts erased, yet all parts absorbed. 

 

It is the costuming that she is shedding, or perhaps inhaling as she breathes out only love.

Thank you! Beautifully put! It's so easy to forget that the 'I am' our Goddess/Godself in us,  is wearing our personalities and egos as a costume! We played roles so long, we've almost forgotten who is behind the mask!LOL Time to take off the costumes and start anew, knowing who we are. The final curtain is about to come down on the Goddess/God game. I am hoping for a standing ovation.(smile)
