Hi, this is Just for clarification.  The "13-Moon" was NOT Mayan, but an invention of Jose Arguelles because he did NOT understand what the true Maya calendar was all about which is a fractal geometric construct in higher dimensions.  We have 20-digits and 13 major joints. The Maya did not need a seasonal calendar.  The real maya tell us that this wisdom comes from the Pleiadean Ancestors.  To wrongly say that the calendar is based on the moon is to cause as much confusion as basing a calendar on the sun.  The moon cycles are imprecise and some "months" are shorter than others.  The Maya calendar is based on precise mathematical cycles.  just saying!

 

Jose Arguelles was an ego-maniac who started a "cult of personality" called Dreamspell or 13-moon calendar.  It leads people astray from their true self.  Only the true Mayan calendar shows you the truth.

To the contrary, I would have to say that only the inner self shows one the truth.

This fellow, Jose Arguelles, is supposed to have channeled this information, much like the information oftentimes provided on this here webpage. It's up to the individual which tools they use. I find it unfair to discredit a course if the tool has been transformed into a purer tool of light, into information and knowledge.

 

 

Arguelles is the guy who started it all. He is the guy accredited with coming up with the Dec. 21 2012 date from the Mayan calender, in many ways he is the father of 2012, Jose now wants to be called “Valum Votan” which apparently means “Closer of the Cycle.” He made this change in his name essentially because, as he explains on a web page entitled ” VOTAN LIVES IN ARGUELLES ! ARGUELLES IS DEAD !” (caps and all)  that he was receiving so many prophetic messages from a long dead Mayan priest named Pacal Votan (AD 603-683) that he just decided to go ahead and do away with his other identity all together.  Arguelles explains in another place about how his revelation of the 2012 date came from “Votan”

The source of this revelation is Pacal Votan, AD 603-683, whose tomb was dedicated AD 692, long count: 9.13.0.0.0. My journey began in 1953, one year after the discovery of Pacal Votan’s tomb on June 15 (Planetary Mirror), 1952. ….. I received a vision concerning the dates of the end of the Ninth Hell, August 16-17, 1987; from this vision came the conception of the Harmonic Convergence Global Meditation which commemorated the conclusion of the prophecy of Quetzalcoatl, and signaled the final count-down to Winter Solstice, AD 2012.

Jose also has gems like this:

“Who will be the prophet who will be the priest to interpret truly the Word of the Book?” This question concludes the “Prophecy of the New Religion.” The new religion is not Christianity, but the religion of UR [universal religion] which comes at the end time after the fulfillment of all of the prophecies.

 

 

I agree that we're here to give as many tools as possible to help all understand that, finally, all comes from the inside. THough we're not here simply for those that already know and live it, it would not make sense would it? We're here to help those on the path of discovering their inner Truth. Once all wake up we'll shut the site down dancing in JOY!
