To The Cookie Monster In You

I LOVE COOKIES.  When I was a child, my grandma used to give me cookies as a reward for being good.  I did not like capital punishment, and I loved cookies, so I was as good as I could permit myself (well, not getting caught that is).  lol

The cookie monster in me is still very much alive.  I shop at the Dollar Tree and I AM proud of being able to shop there.  So many treasures for ONE DOLLAR.  Great smelling candles, personal products, cleaning, toys, food, ect.ect.ect.

Not to long ago, I went there and discovered they carried Joseph's All Natural Great Tastin Sugar Free Cookies!!! Now, the taste has to be acquired, but, once you get used to them, they are not bad at all. I've only tried peanut butter, it and coconut was the only flavors the particular one I shop at carries, but, the guy told me check next week for more flavors. Great!!!

There are NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS, 6 small 50 cent sized cookies have only 40g sodium, and 95 calories for 6 cookies, 0 transfat, 0 saturated fat, 0 sugar and 0 cholesterol.  They come in Lemon, Almond, Coconut, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip, Pecan Shortbread, Pecan Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip with Pecans, Strawberry Coconut Cakes, and Brownies.  AND THEY ARE SUGAR FREE.

So, if you are a fella cookie monster, and you want to satisfy it, as healthy as you can, one sure fire way to do it more would be to invest in a bag and see what happens.  For me, the illusion of the cookie is what quenches my cookie monsters desire for cookies. And, I smile when I eat them because I should smile.  Smile.

Thanks for letting me share.

I'm usually skeptical of the "sugar-free" stuff as it often contains things that aren't any healthier for you than sugar. Turns out these cookies contain maltitol, a sugar alcohol which comes from hydrogenated maltose. It's created through an industrial process, so the whole "all-natural" claim isn't really true, nor is their claim they contain no sugar alcohols.

Thanks sibling.  I now have a new term to look for.

Dang, cookie need to find new cookies or ............. "GULP"...give them up....... "wahwahwah"

Thats what the doctors say.  I dont take the meds (they make me sick) so I attempt to do it with diet. I AM exercising more and taking in less.  My blood pressure is NOW normal, I believe that it is because I have removed myself from a stressful environment.  I feel alot better too.
