Element 115 approaching confirmation nearly ten years after its discovery

Okay, I know this stuff's important. Reaching upward to new heights, and all that. But I can't help but wonder at the desire to find new elements when we don't seem to do all that well with the one's know about.  We got 114 elements and austerity, poverty and even starvation? We got 114 elements and we still gas and drone children and their mothers? We got 114 elements and no Peace?

  I'd rather we find Peace next if it's all the same to everyone else.....
