Here is my suggestion
Dr. Peter Levine is one of the leaders in the field of Trauma Healing. He invented the process of 'Somatic Experiencing. As a person who has experienced PTSD personally, and as a doctor/healer, I found great benefit with his approach. Here is a short YouTube video on his work: http://youtu.be/ByalBx85iC8
I hope you and others will enjoy it. Other inspirations have been Corrie Ten Boom, a survivor of a concentration camp, and the NICABM series of lectures on the topic.
Lastly, I have experienced the healing of the Light Boxes, and advanced technology that as a shaman and healer I was invited to go into with my Light Body in Dream Time. It was tremendous at relieving the anxiety and sequelae of PTSD. I believe this is discussed in some of my older blog posts on this blog.
Thank you for your heartfelt and compassionate article. I read it with interest. As a healer who works both with conventional and Reiki energy medicine, I wanted to assist with a little 'something to add'. Namaste.
