THE ONION: Buddhist Extremist Cell Vows To Unleash Tranquility On West

  Well, I must say this is very good news. I was getting worried that things might get completely out of hand, but it's nice to see our Buddhist brothers are picking up the slack. And their plan is way better than mine:

This is a beautiful idea from the Buddhist group. As most would probably chuckle at this sort of idea it very well could work in the long run as peace vibrations sent out into the universe can be a lot more powerful than most might think. We need more people doing this sort of thing to reach a mass consciousness level and even ask for divine intervention. The very fact that the elite are doing everything humanly possible in their power to stifle the name of such great masters as Jesus should make people question as to "WHY" they are so frightened of it that they have to erase His name from schools, court houses and basically everything else. They are so scared of such things because it would be like throwing boiling hot oil on them and their darkness. Think about it people, the masses are coming on the right track slowly and seeing thoughts like these Buddhists only prove it more and more. Spread light and peace all!

You got to love the Bhuddists, they're down with it! I love it!! We certainly can use it here in the West. Will be interesting to see what effect it will have on everybody. I welcome it!

Sorry folks, but the onion is a satire site. It doesn't actually release news it releases joke news. This article may very well not even be about anyone in particular who physically exists...
However if the media is intentionally making a piece to make fun of it then expect it to try to be discrediting the values it is suggesting. If a satire site does something deliberately to make fun of something you can bet the owners fear the movement it would be supported by.
Not being. Pessimist, but The Onion is notoriously a comedy news satire site.

I enjoy the Onion for it's humor. But, this is way more serious business than is described in the article. Concentrated thought is a totally effective method to achieve anything. You do not have to be a Buddhist for this to work. The joking part is all in the assumption that people will not seriously look into this. That part is really sad.  This is quantum physics. It does work. Please remind yourselves exactly how the powerful inflict their disease upon the masses. They start by telling partial truths, then they make fun of it and do the opposite of their promises. This is a never ending circle of lies with no excape for those who do not question the validity of the statements.  Examples, No child left behind. No more taxes. The list is an infinate ongoing babble of political deception. Do yourselves a favor. Question everything. The word government comes from latin, gobernaria- to steer, lead, control / and mente- the mind. Or better stated mind control. The truth is always in the words. Knowledge, understanding and wisdom. These always lead to the truth.

***UPDATE*** As word filtered out of the monk's intentions to spread worldwide peace into the already nervous stock markets, the stock of Dynacorp and other defense and weapons-related industry's stock prices immediately took a sharp nosedive and trading had to be suspended, indefinitely.

A spokesperson from the Pentagon (who wishes to remain anonymous) said: ''We've heard these rumors of love and harmony before, you know? But you can believe one thing, the US military won't sit idly by and let peace breakout all over the place! No, sir buddy!! Of course it's true we can't seem to hack into their communications to try and understand their plans since they talk to each other via meditation. And every time we send one of our guys in via meditation, they join the enemy and come back talking about brotherly love!''

Lol, let's send energy into this and make it come true!

HOHO, but with that unintentionally, an idea was born! Maybe, the Buddhists Will pick up on it! Maybe all of us can use this "joke" and make it work. The joke would be on those who don't believe!! There is a kernel of truth in everything, and everything can be turned around for good. Let's take em up on it!
