You're right. Everyone has a Washington D.C. inside festering in their negativity. Everyone has a Wall Street inside and a Pentagon. Everyone has politicians inside, reflecting the self-induced illusion and programming. The hard part is to become aware of this. Then to raise self-awareness to the point the ego is seen as what it is, neither good or bad but as either an end to a means or something that stands in the way. Once we see how egos love to wallow in misery and thus justify its position, think politicians, then it's easy to turn away from it without high emotions or forceful attitude but one of loving care for an irrelevant child that has dragged us back. Gentle doesn't mean weak but strong enough to know where we want to go and need to be once we realign within.
