This Taurus New Moon….is asking us to embody Mother Earth….to Ground in her beauty and feel her energy. New Moons bring new beginnings. New Moons are also the most spiritual and intuitive moons of the whole Lunar cycle. This Taurus New Moon is the 3rd Super Moon in a row. A Super Moon is when the Moon is in its nearest approach to the Earth…the gravitational pull is stronger and it also affects the tectonic plates….along with our psyche. This New Moon could intensify your feelings…..bringing to the surface of your consciousness, your true feelings in many areas. This Taurus New Moon is also sitting with Mercury (your mind and your communication) and Venus (which rules Taurus, is about love, creativity and beauty)….which makes the energies of this New Moon even stronger. It is time to honor the truth of your feelings and communicate them to yourself and to those whom your feelings are about. This New Taurus Moon beckons us to be seduced by Nature and the Earth energies……to become one with our deeper self…..take in the beauty….take in the Love. It is a wonderful time to celebrate Beauty, Love, and Nature!
It is a powerful time to manifest, meditate and create!
Each New Moon brings with it a down load of evolutionary energies to give us the knowledge to create a beautiful future. These electromagnetic wavelengths activate our Pineal Gland or 3rd eye, which is sensitive to frequencies beyond our five senses. The Pineal Gland/3rd eye, is kind of like a spiritual antenna! All New Moons are about creating the “new”. Starting something “new”…..manifesting and creating the “new”……and we are all in the process of Co-Creating the “New” world and Co-Creating our newly evolved selves!
New Moons mark the beginning of a new cycle... During this powerful New Moon….meditate and manifest on Peace….within yourself and in the World. Meditate for direction and guidance during these very powerful energies……
This New Moon is in Taurus…..which is about, enjoying the senses, nurturing, growing your own food and medicines, flowers and gardens, love, sensuality, creativity, grounding, security, the joys of food and cooking, your own self worth, your values etc. Watch that you don’t slip into the gray side of Taurus during this time which is about greed, hoarding tendencies, overindulgence in food/drink, security fears, stubbornness, and withdrawing from others by going into your cave. Taurus is about self-survival, your values and how you put food on the table and roof over your head. It also is very Earth orientated and seems to have a special spiritual connection with the Earth. Earth Spirituality (Taurus) is part of this New Moon. Focus on the Earth….her beauty, the life she gives us and the love we need to give her back.
With the Taurus energy we are being asked, along with the collective, to shift into the higher energies, as we are interacting with the physical (Taurus) world. We are being given the opportunity to ground the high Spiritual energies and activations…..that we have been receiving over the last few months….. so that we can bring them into physical form. With all the energies and activations we have been receiving……. we are now, with this Taurus New Moon, being asked to pull back a little….to breathe and to rest. We are being asked to focus and “see” the beauty in the Earth and the physical world that is all around us, and think of Peace! Spend time outside. Take time to sit with the Earth…and embody her Energy.
Another indication from the Universe that we need to sit back and breath…..is the fact that we have, at this New Moon, 5 planets that are retrograde! They are: Jupiter (higher knowledge, religions, philosophy, Joy, “good luck”) until May 9th, Mercury (our mind, communication, writing etc.) until May 22nd , Mars (the warrior, passion, pioneer, action) until June 29th , Saturn (the father figure, structures, Elder wisdoms, CEO’s) until August 13th, and Pluto (planet of transformation, passion, intensity) until September 26th. That is a lot of retrograde planets. When a planet is retrograde it is time to internalize the energies of the planet that is retrograde. To go inward…to think about…..to mediate on the energies of that planet, and then Listen to what you might be hearing… or feeling…. as you concentrate on each retrograde planet and the energies that planet brings to you. Go inward….relax…..think….meditate….be one with the Earth, and let her loving energies guide your thoughts and your insights….. so you can then bring them into form......as each planet (and its specific energies) turn direct and begin moving forward… on the dates that I gave you above.
At this Taurus New Moon we also find the Sun (our core energy, our life force) and Moon (our emotional core, our cellular memory, our natural intuition) sitting with Venus, Mercury and Vesta. That means… 5 planets all in Taurus….. the sign of bringing intentions and manifestations into the physical world!! 5 planets retrograde…..5 planets in Taurus. You may be feeling like you just want to withdraw….from everything….everyone. You may feel like you just don’t want to get out of bed. Many are feeling this way. With all the Taurus energy and all the retrograde planets…..it can feel almost overwhelming….. to do much of anything. We also continue to deal with the intense energies of the last couple months! We are still trying to embody those energies. This can also be very draining on our bodies. Limited activity is what is being asked of us….at a time when we are being asked to make great forward progress……so we can “see” the big picture…..so we can create the “new”….our “new”.
At this Taurus New Moon we have another configuration that also emphasizes the energy of meditation, manifestation and envisioning the future. It is called a Grand Trine (harmonious energy) between the New Moon/Mercury/ Jupiter and Pluto, (Mercury/Jupiter/Pluto all retrograde). Let the insights and thoughts flow……write them down…..meditate on them so that you can manifest all of them into form….once the planets start turning direct. It will then be time to take action on all the wisdoms and information given to you during these “quiet” times.
With Venus and Neptune in sextile (harmonious flow of energy) to each other during this Taurus New Moon…..relationships become a main focus. All relationships including business and business partners, close friends, family, and romantic love relationships……along with the relationship we have with our higher self….God/Goddess….and other dimensions. All are being activated. There is also a lot about love in this New Moon. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus…therefore not only activating Love on all levels…..but Unconditional Love on all levels. Falling into a passionate relationship, igniting a new or current relationship or finding that you have to end an existing relationship, can all be the results of this earthy sensuous Taurus New Moon. Manifest that the results in all the relationships you are dealing with, will be handled in the most compassionate and loving way possible for the highest good of all.
During this Taurus New Moon….. Mercury is retrograde. Again Mercury will be retrograde in Taurus till May 22nd. Mercury is our voice, how we share our knowledge…….rather it is through writing, talking, teaching, or U-tubing etc. Allow extra time in all areas of communication and travel etc. Walking our Talk is of upmost importance now…..however during this time we are being asked to rethink what “our talk” really is. It is a time to think, meditate on, go inward and listen to what you are hearing about “your talk”. It is a time of rethinking, and releasing the “old” ways of communicating that are no longer working for you…..or that is no longer “your talk”. This may also show up in devices that you use to communicate with. Breakdowns can be gifts……if you take time to really think about what you were trying to communicate and in what form and energy you were trying to communicate with. Think before you speak……if you write an e-mail etc……put in send later and go back and reread it before you send it. With this Mercury retrograde in Taurus…bringing into form….. the evolutionary changes in the ways and what you say (your voice) by using your intuition, love and creativity as “your voice” and “walking your talk” is being given the opportunity to revise and upgrade so that you can take the steps necessary to begin to speak in a grounded Spiritual heart filled way…… for all.
Because Mercury is retrograding during this Taurus New Moon….Mercury retrograde is also asking us to learn how to talk with and communicate with the Earth and all her inhabitants. Taurus is ruled by Venus which is feminine and love…….the Earth is feminine. This Taurus New Moon is also about the balance of the feminine and male energies and the honoring of the scared feminine which is also the Earth herself. We as humans are one with nature……one with the Earth…..we are not separate. The Universe is speaking loudly here…..walk with the Earth……listen to her…..take care of her and she will take care of you. Destroy her, and you destroy humankind.
This Taurus New Moon seems to be saying that it is time to connect with the energy of the Earth, to bring into balance the Feminine and the Male energies. It is time to bring old outdated structures (Saturn - Lord of structures and Father figure), sitting with Mars (the warrior, action, pioneer, Passion) in Sagittarius (joy, higher knowledge, philosophies, international) and both retrograde, ……into balance with Nature. One area that has really opened up in this arena over this last year is organic foods (Taurus), and no GMO’s etc…..the ability to grow and eat these foods without corporations controlling them. Also, a lot has been put out there in the arena of natural medicines. Again, bringing the focus to balance, between corporate (pharmaceuticals, GMO’s) and the individual (natural foods and medicines). Meditate/manifest during this New Taurus Moon …….. to bring about ways to make this happen.
Remember that we are co-creating our world with our thoughts and our intentions daily. The choices you make….are creating your future. We are learning to look at the big picture. To get a “picture” of how things can look down the road. But we don’t have to see the Big Picture in detail or know exactly how it will turn out….to move forward!
Meditate and manifest on how to bring all areas of your life into Balance!! Also meditate and manifest on ways that you can help to bring the community, your tribe, humanity and the World into a peaceful Balance!! We are co-creating our own reality…..make it a beautiful one! Above all manifest…..meditate….ask for guidance…...and Listen!
Ask yourself….. how can I take of my area of the Earth…..how can I create more beauty in all areas of my life? How can I help to bring Peace to the Earth……to those around me, and also to myself? How can I help to bring balance to the Earth, Humanity, my Community and to myself? Meditate…..Listen…..follow you’re Heart!
This Taurus energy is being accented by the Universe now for a reason and the Universe wants us to pay attention to these energies. Take time during this Taurus New Moon energy….. and breathe………just breathe! Connect with the Earth…..walk barefooted, touch the Earth! Planet flowers and food…..get Dirty!!!! Feel her energy. Embody the Earth Spirituality! What do you feel and sense from the Earth? Take time to be outside and look…..walk, ride, sit with the Earth…..what do you see in nature that you haven’t taken the time to look at for a while? Notice the trees, the flowers, the clouds? Feel the stones; talk with love to the animals. Watch the animals play, the butterflies, the birds. Get in touch with the Fairies and the Earth Elementals. Listen to the Earth sounds…..remember them? Take a day or two or more and connect with the cycles of the Moon and the Stars. As above…..so below. Manifest and create the beauty of the “New.” Meditate and Listen to what the Earth sends you intuitively. Embrace the Magic
