The conventional medical paradigm was established to remedy symptoms of disease, causing most people to be unaware that conditions have a root cause. Medical authorities in most countries are leading a crusade against all forms of natural health modalities, and their continuation of these efforts is suppressing crucial scientific-based evidence supporting the efficacy of natural complementary health approaches. The American Medical Association (AMA), in response to the recent backlash against MDs like Dr. Oz, are spearheading a campaign to quell the voices of many reputable natural doctors.
Fortunately, their attempts are being counteracted by those in the natural health community, and importantly, your voice can help reduce the AMA’s actions.

You don’t need to be a spiritual teacher or a Reiki master to be a healer, you simply are one.
Saying you need a piece of paper or a following to be a healer is like saying you need a college degree to make money. Well people do say that, but if you believe you don’t need a degree to succeed, then you should also believe that you don’t need a status like some spiritual teachers have in order to awaken your healing abilities.
We are born with the power to heal, just like we are born with the ability to learn to read and write. We are born with the power to allow our healing abilities to come to fruition. That’s all you need, allowance. Classes and retreats will help you, they will guide you and open you up, maybe even faster because being surrounded by people who are already allowing their powers helps a lot, but it’s also not a necessity.
You have come here not to forever follow other healers, but to instead allow that of which you already are – a healer.
“All children are born artists. The problem is to remain an artist as we grow up.” ~Pablo Picasso
There was a period in my life, many years ago, when I was utterly unhappy. I was feeling a burden deep within me that did not allow me to enjoy myself. I had become too much of an introvert, my relationships with other people were falling apart, and I didn’t enjoy doing anything–except for painting.
One of those gloomy days, I found myself locked in my bedroom, painting on a canvas with my brushes and colors for many hours non-stop. Whatever my psyche ordered me to paint, I painted, with no conscious effort. The unconscious had possessed me, so to speak, and I was flowing with it.
Suddenly, I felt the desire to stop painting, and I did. And when I did, I felt a great relief, as if I had released all the burden that was inside me. At that time I experienced immense joy and I could sense myself wearing a big smile on my face.

Waking Times
Where are you now? Are you confined in a physical body? Are you limited by the range of your physical senses? Does the feeling of the weight of your body define you? Does the flickering of the mind give you shape? Are you found in the computer screen as your eyes pass over these words? Or in the feelings or reactions in your blood, nervous system and thoughts to these words? Where are you now?
Imagine that there is an infinite love in the space around, between, behind and before all objects, all feelings, all sensations. How would it be if the secret to all we are, and all we can ever be is not in the stuff, but in the space between all things? How would it be if the only obstacle between ourselves and this infinite love was our own beliefs in limitation?
Imagine that awareness, or consciousness is not confined within the perimeters of the body and the five physical senses. Imagine that even the secret to our ability to feel, touch, perceive or be aware is found in the space between objects, not in the objects we perceive.
Even in your darkest moments, if you listen closely enough, The Universe is whispering of all the good that will come from it when all is resolved. It may be a challenging feat to accomplish, especially when the emotions have taken over, but it can be done. Allow, trust and know that you are cared for more than you will ever know. ~ Creator

Dear Ones, healing is a process that occurs naturally. You will be made aware of anything that needs to be addressed.
Think of your car. If you had a flat tire, you would recognize there was an issue, attend to it, and move on. You would not, for the rest of time, keep your car on a hoist, checking and rechecking the tires to make sure they were good, would you?
So many humans, in their desire to be diligent, get stuck in the healing loop, looking over and over for signs of trouble. The act of healing is meant to be matter of fact. “Oh, I see there is something coming up. How wonderful that my vehicle lets me know what it needs! I will tend to this and get back to my journey, secure in the fact that if there is anything else I need to be aware of, I will know.” Do you see how such an attitude would keep you in the flow of wellness, and moving at a pace that is perfect for you?
You do not keep picking off a scab to see if healing is occurring underneath. Trust in the system. Know your body, your lightbody, your soul knows everything you need and will deliver it to you with 100% accuracy, with an entire universe assisting you in that process. ~Archangel Gabriel

Those of us who have tried meditating know that accessing the Now can enable us to hear things that we normally ignore or suppress from typical awareness — the sounds of birds, the wind, and, of course, the ever present noises of civilization.
The same goes for our vision. There is much more to be seen than typically meets the eye! Personally, I enjoy meditating with my eyes open and recommend in my book Active Consciousness that you at least begin your meditations that way. I have found that when I do, I often see things that are normally below my visual radar. These visual gems range from easily visible but somehow unseen wonders of the natural world, to phenomena that are accessible only when I attain a deeper state of awareness. I have found that when we do notice these things, we begin to experience a world that is so much more wonderful and awesome than we normally acknowledge — a world in which there is even more to be grateful for!
daana | Democratizing Wellness
Would you go to a stranger’s home for a yoga class?
Would you offer your living or work space for the well-being of others?
If you were offered a wellness class for free, would you contribute fairly for the benefit of future students?
A small group from Montreal is about to find out, and could significantly revolutionize wellness as we know it.
The daana project is a non-profit initiative driven by the intention to democratize wellness activities worldwide. The tagline says it all: “Healthy Body, Peaceful Mind, For All.” This is potentially a huge game-changer in the conventional approach to good health. The concept is simple: wellness, open-source, donation-based, world-wide.
Most of us are aware that practices like yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, dance, art, dialogue circles and so on, have tremendous health benefits. Yet so few of us participate in a regular group practice. The primary reasons are either location or lack of time or money. Daana is creating a revolution in the welln...

Life can be hectic; sometimes chaos surrounds us in every imaginable direction.
But just because the world around us is in disarray, doesn’t mean the world within us has to be too.
