For Americans, it’s that time of the year again—time to move your clocks an hour ahead; losing a precious hour of sleep in the process. For many, the time change associated with daylight savings time¹ (DST) also means spending several days or even weeks feeling generally off-kilter.

As reported by Prevent Disease:²

“A study, published in 2007… combined surveys from 55,000 people in central Europe with data on 50 individuals’ sleeping and wakefulness patterns for eight weeks around the shifts to and from daylight saving time.

The researchers found people never fully adjust their circadian rhythms to the hour shift associated with daylight saving time (or, as it is known in Europe, summer time).

If our spiritual experience does not resonate deep within our being, it is not truth. If what we hear does not echo in the chambers of our consciousness, it is not truth.

Mind, imagination, and emotion distort the purity and reality of many by making them think they are on a spiritual path of consciousness. They follow what they think, but do not know what they feel.

Awakening is our discovery within of the truth and nature of our consciousness. No one can bring us to this realization, but us. In consciousness, we are both teacher and the one taught.

Our awakening is ours.  Our consciousness is ours.  No one can give awakening to us. It is our personal discovery of the nature of our being and our relationship to all existence.

When we’re willing to view life as the teacher, even in the midst of uncertainty, a journey begins. After interviewing many people about what they’d learned on their own spiritual journeys, I discovered that the journey from fear to freedom, which is all about coming into right relationship with uncertainty, is a predictable journey, one that many have traveled before you and many will travel after you. As you read through the five phases, consider where you are on your own journey. It is a map of sorts and can help you assess where you are on your path.

During times of accelerated energies, it can be confusing as to why some people seem to thrive, and others seem to struggle. Shouldn’t the energies be having the same effect on everyone? How can people have such different experiences in the same energy? If you understand that all movement is forward movement, it will begin to make perfect sense to you.

The people who are thriving in fast moving energies, are those who are non-resistant to their healing journey. They have likely already gone through their own dark night of the soul, which has facilitated their growth, expansion, and desire to step onto their own enlightenment path. The energy serves as an amplification of the energy they are already holding, and supports the unfoldment of what they have been working on consciously creating for themselves.

Those who may be struggling in the energies are also moving rapidly forward on their paths. It may be that they have been stuck in old patterns or habits, or living unconsciously. Rest assured, no matter how painful their experiences may seem, they serve the purpose of racing them headlong to the energetic bottom their soul requires for them to embrace change. When it becomes too painful to stay the same, a person will then surrender and their healing journey will begin in earnest.

The Virgo Full Moon pulls our minds and spirits into the eruptions of the hyperactive first week of this hyperactive month.

A lot has been changing quickly and drastically, inside and out. We’re all in for some emotional catching up and processing. The question is what to do with our minds, and with each other.

It’s a high stakes moment. We’re nearing the final peak in the radical structural change that has been ongoing since 2012. Uranus and Pluto are setting off one last round of tectonic plate shifts as they move into the last of seven squares on March 16.

Each of them has cosmic assistance in their corner. Bigger-is-better Jupiter has been whipping up Uranus, the unpredictable, rebellious and individuating agent of sudden change. Now this Virgo Full Moon is tilling and moistening the ground being worked over by Pluto, the agent of unavoidable change. What we contemplate, vent and process now pours directly into that ground.

Love can do anything. Love can work miracles.

You may think:

“Sure. Love can work miracles. Lives have been saved, etc. etc. I believe it. What I don’t believe is that my love can work miracles in my life. I have given love that was not answered. My giving mammoth love didn’t bring my true love to me. All my love has not spared me in any way I can see – except perhaps to spare me from happiness – I can see that all right. My experience seems to have been that my love has been misunderstood, made too much of or not enough of. Life is too perplexing. I am sure that You have a full view of life, God. I just don’t.

“I want to say that You are not living my life. I am. You may say that You and I are One, yet I don’t see your heart hurting. You can say that Your heart is mine and vice versa, yet I don’t get it.

“God, I do not want You to hurt even once as I have been hurt. I do not want You to hurt at all. I am happy that You are wise and full of love and beyond all the discourse and developments of life as I know it. I would not want You to be otherwise, I hope You know that. I would not want to change You in any way. It is my individual self that I would like to change if I but knew how.
