Now that cold and flu season is upon us, pretty much every where I look, there’s a bottle of hand sanitizer. It’s at the bank, in the grocery store – even on the counter at the liquor store! Hand sanitizers are a recent trend, with far more people carrying personal containers around with them and using them in public.

It seems to make sense, right? It seems like a perfect way to stay clean and disinfect, but there are some hidden downsides that folks don’t really talk too much about. Finding out the truth about this product is crucial for your health.

Dear Ones, so many of you feel you have to accomplish everything on your own. There is so much help available to you! There is never a time when you do not have assistance, all you have to do is ask and be open to receive.

We find it curious that so often you ask for help and when it arrives you turn it down! Do you understand that when help arrives in the form of assistance from another, it is Source working through that person? To accept the help is to dance with the universe, rather than staying stuck in painful resistance. You will then experience the joy of receiving, and the other, the joy of giving.

Move into the knowingness that you are part of a greater, supported whole, and start to enjoy the ease that comes from embracing the myriad of ways the universe can deliver exactly what you need. ~Archangel Gabriel

The Art of Mindfully Letting Go with Buddha’s Four Noble Truths

Twenty-five hundred years ago, the Buddha was like the first psychologist, teaching his followers about the power of mindfully letting go and changing their mental processes in order to alleviate emotional discomfort and embrace change. One of his insights were the four noble truths that helped people free themselves from the patterns of thinking and behaving that perpetuate their suffering.

By looking at these four central tenets of Buddhism we can better understand how micromanaging our circumstances can cause us to become agitated and restricted. Instead when we learn to let go of our attachments we can transform our lives in an innovative way.

The four noble truths can help us break out of the need to be in control and, instead mindfully letting go into an acceptance of the present moment. Only in the present will we find the courage to cross the threshold of the unknown...

Here that rush of wind? It’s the collective sigh of relief. October’s intensity is fading ever so slowly. November brings its own richly textured movement and growth, but without the disorientation of sudden endings and groping around in the dark.  Here is the Astrology Forecast for November 2014.

Three distinct threads form November’s tapestry. The first thread adds warmth, color and vitality to the mix, as celestial movements stoke the element of fire in the sky and in ourselves. The amplification begins on the 9th, when Venus head-butts Jupiter and encourages wanting what you want, and more of it to boot. The flames roar higher and higher in three big stair steps, as Venus, then the Sun and then Mercury move into adventuresome, high-minded and gregarious Sagittarius.

Empaths and HSPs are sensitive individuals who face many daily challenges because of the way they perceive energy, emotions, and non-verbal information contained in their environment. They also are deeply intuitive. When using the word energy it is referring to the energetic vibration being emitted. This vibration contains information, which you might perceive as emotion, or may have information that you know intuitively without being able to identify the source. You know but can’t explain why or how you know. According to writer and psychotherapist Elaine Aron, about 20% of the population is HSP, further she explains that being so was a desirable trait during mankind’s very early history. During hunter/gatherer times this attribute allowed us to be an early warning detection system, helping us survive harsh environments where predators were numerous. She has also done studies that appear to suggest that HSP have lower serotonin levels. This ties in with your ability to detect subtle change and fluctuations in your environment and also explains why many empaths and HSP’s suffer periods of depression.

Dealing with Difficult People

It’s a reflex to emotionally contract around them feeling powerless, irritated, hurt, or miserable, reactions that just wear you out. But, they can’t steal your happiness unless you let them.

Surrender can improve your communication skills in many kinds of challenging interactions. For instance, do you know when to surrender your need to be right in order to restore love at home, or when to surrender resentments so that you can forgive? How to avoid taking things personally? Or deal with a friend or spouse who’s doing something you disagree with?

Be aware that your ego could resist the concept of surrender as its aim is to create open channels of communication between people rather than stonewalling or defending, responses the ego is more accustomed to...

The Kepler space telescope has been snapping images of exoplanets, or planets orbiting other stars, and has helped us realize that there could be billions of planets like ours in the galaxy. One of Kepler’s newer finds is something of a ‘mega planet,’ a planet 17 times heavier than the Earth. It even dwarfs other planets classified as super planets.

This mega planet, Kepler-10c, is solid and rocky. It isn’t a gas giant, like Jupiter or Saturn. “Finding Kepler-10c tells us that rocky planets could form much earlier than we thought. And if you can make rocks, you can make life,” lead researcher Dimitar Sasselov says in a press release.
