My first love was an introduction to Taoism in High School at around 13. It's hard to describe what it did to me or how I felt.

Home. This is it. That makes sense. This is the closest I remember how I felt when I was first introduced to the ancient Chinese philosophy that tries to explain what life is through what it's not and the "Way" as impalpable, ineffable. Taoism has its place in today's world where the ridiculous is worshiped and nonsense adulated.

"Cut off sageliness, cast away wisdom, and then the great thieves will cease. Break the jades, crush the pearls, and petty thieves will no longer rise up. Burn the tallies, shatter the seals, and the people will be simple and guileless. Hack up the bushels, snap the balances in two, and the people will no longer wrangle. Destroy and wipe out the laws that the sage has made for the world, and at last you will find you can reason with the people."

It's hard to argue against this wisdom.

But try as we might, we live in different times than the ancient masters did. As much, we must adapt and take from the old, anchoring our feet in this new reality we are forced to acknowledge.

I take refuge often in Chuang Tzu's famed words. No matter whether he or she exists or not. Who cares. It's the moon we must watch, not the finger-pointing. But this ruthless logic should have us re-examine our way of disempowering ourselves, then complain, then hail saviors that never come.

As we watch the news, it would be wise to see we hear from political careerists and not trained health professionals. Those who are trained health professionals speaking with politicians have long left the confines of their labs and research.

The Multiplicity and the Unity are one and the same thing, a thing that is both many and one at the same time. The waves, and the currents underwater, make up the ocean. The ocean is the underlying basis for every wave. Neither the ocean, nor the waves, can be understood in isolation from each other. We must preserve the sense of unity and the sense of diversity and multiplicity. We must recognize that the One and the Many are the same thing viewed from different angles. The One is the Many. The One is manifested only in and through the Many. It has no separate existence apart from the Many. Equally the Many are the One. Even during their temporary separation, they are always part of the One, and always united with the One. Every one of us is always part of the One, and can unite with the One at any time we choose.

We need a sense of the unity of life and of humans for the sake of human welfare and for the survival of the planet. We need a sense of unity with the cosmos so that we can connect with Reality. But we also need a sense of individuality, for the sake of our own dignity and independence and of the loving care for others. We need it to appreciate each natural form, each animal and plant, each human person in their uniqueness.

We must preserve the sense of unity and the sense of diversity and multiplicity. We must recognize that the One and the Many are the same thing viewed from different angles. The One is the Many. The One is manifested only in and through the Many. It has no separate existence apart from the Many. Equally the Many are the One. Even during their temporary separation, they are always part of the One, and always united with the One. Every one of us is always part of the One, and can unite with the One at any time we choose.

TWO FORMS Of UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Mysticism: All are One, the universe is a Unity
All things in the universe are one. They are all made of the same basic matter/energy, and they interact with one another, constantly. All things on earth are one: plants, animals, rocks, oceans and atmosphere. All living creatures had a common origin, all depend on each other, and shape and are shaped by non-living things. Life has radically altered the earth's atmosphere, and molded many aspects of its geology. The Gaia system is an organic evolving whole embracing the biosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and atmosphere. All humans on earth are one. We descend from the same family of common ancestors. We are, in a quite literal sense, siblings, and like siblings we depend on each other's love and care and responsibility. We are interdependent not just in our families and communities, but in nations, and increasingly on a global scale - just as we are also interdependent with nature and the earth.

~ANCIENT WISDOM AND MODERN SCIENCE
The universe is not a world of separate things and events but is a cosmos that is connected, coherent, and bears a profound resemblance to the visions held in the earliest spiritual traditions in which the physical world and spiritual experience were both aspects of the samereality and man and the universe were one. The findings that justify this new vision of the underlying logic of the universe come from almost all of the empirical sciences: physics, cosmology, the life sciences, and consciousness research. They explain how interactions lead to interconnections that produce instantaneous and multifaceted coherence–what happens to one part also happens to the other parts, and hence to the system as a whole. The sense of sacred oneness experienced by our ancestors that was displaced by the unyielding material presumptions of modern science can be restored, and humanity can once again feel at home in the universe.

For many people balance means having ups and downs together. For them for every bright side, there must be a dark side to balance. If there is a bad habit, there should be a good habit to balance. For every bad person, there must be a good person to balance. There are angles to balance devil. There are wealthy people ergo there must be poor to balance. Here is what I call the problem of ZERO.

People have been mal-educated by the concept of zero in a way to deeply internalize the idea. This makes them believe that the world is made of positives and negatives and a zero as a point of balance. I can’t think of any negative being. As long as something exists, we have no choice but looking at it as a positive being.

You may ask how about those misbehaviors we see every day. Well again I would say instead of seeing it as malicious traits like greediness or love of power, we can see it as having less of awareness, or being less awakened. Taking it as having less of something will make us think of ways to help the people who lack it. Instead of making a monster of them, we can then think of helping them to awaken to a higher level of consciousness. Having less of something is in no ways equal to having negative things as the word negative itself is what make dualities appear and creates distances and harm humanity and the whole universe in large.

Zero is fake and artificial therefore negative is fake and artificial, and beyond that, balance is something artificial. Whatever exists is made of positive and we are all on our way to a higher consciousness and should help each other in this path.

There might be reasons you may imagine yourself as a real being while there might be moment in your life in which you may have felt the nothingness of your being and the universe around you. Here is five reasons why you may have had a real experience:

1- Physics challenges our understanding of reality!

What is 2+2? You may say 4 and you may be right in most of the normal occasions. However in modern physics we look at this answer with a little bit more caution. If we are looking at event too large or too small then relativity or quantum physics may stop us from giving the same answer too quickly. To shuttles flying towards each other at an extreme speed of 200,000 km/s would not see themselves collapsing at the speed of 2+2 = 400,000 km/s! The same would go if you look at quantum events. This should make us rethink our understanding of reality and if we don't have a clue what reality is, then how would we call this world or ourselves REAL?

Everything has changed.

It is easier to breathe now.

It is easier to think now.

My thoughts are coming in blocks now, instead of in sentences. Years can be lived now in a few hours.

You can feel it, can't you? Can you appreciate that the air is sparklier?

Please understand that this is not in reaction to any blogger's peer pressure, my telling you these things. After these changes became undeniable, I caught wind of how magnificent the equinox was to be for all of us. It's nice, now and then, having confirmation. Things have been very different for six days now. I am counting them, now. I want to see how long this thing goes. I want to see if it is just How Things Are Now, or if this is just another incremental adjustment.

I don't know the ins and the outs. I just know that things are very different inside my head and heart now.

And here's the thing. I worked through the Equinox. And it was a tilty shift.

Early in the shift I took a mental health toilet break. I took my hair down and looked in the mirror. Really studied myself. And it just came to me clear as day, What are you playing at? You do realize you are a grown up, right? You aren't fifteen. You don't have to do this if you don't want to. What exactly are you playing at?

Then I put my hair up and went back to work.

It was a weird shift. It was teaching me, they all do, but it had a grinding quality to it. I wanted it to be over. It was dawning on me that the last two shifts have been about me not being seen as having even one whisper of authority. I had nurses treating me like I was a new grad. It's like I gave off a gripless vibe. It was weird, the last two shifts, how very much like a mentally handicapped child I have been treated.

REALIZED – ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT

The last four days have been nothing short of miraculous. I sing a song today celebrating how very far I have come, how far we are all coming, and oh! The view from here is spectacular, humbling, unnerving, magnificent, knowing all this while holding such great gratitude for knowing there is more. There is only more from here. It only gets better from here.

This has been a heart-pounding journey, this whole awakening. I remember daily a dream I had last year... me and Sam coming up from a concrete bunker onto a concrete, grey world. No vegetation. Very few people, but I had the feeling the place was in fact vast, and well-populated. I wore a turban, and flowing robes. I told Sam we were to sit on the bench. I understood that to sit was an honor.

Sam fidgeted. I chastised him. I pointed to the sky. I told him to settle down and look up. That it was about to happen. I told him that a couple of times. And then, as if on cue, it did.

The heavens opened into a square, a rectangle. Flames shot out of the mouth of this geometry, and with it, a terrible, deep, resonant sound.

(I have since only heard that sound, felt it as I did in my dream, when I have published these blogs.)

And then it was as if the sky switched, and was full of spaceships. They were all white, but the sizes and varieties was boggling.

And then the games began. The chases, the extremity, the fear, the wars, just scenes of darkness, extremity, difficulty, on a city, country, world scale.

And then came the conclusion.
