THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL   Humans have been led to believe that money is the root of all evil. Some go further to say that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Yet both are far from the truth, although we do understand the basic underlying message.

It is the intention of the uni-verse to allow each soul to love all things, allowing them to be as they are, so loving money is not a bad thing. However, using money to gain control over another is not a good thing. Spending more time focusing on acquiring money rather than taking care of your personal needs and your loved ones can create an imbalance in your life. Using money to buy the affections of another is a very low density proposition, leading to pain.

There are many unhealthy ways a person can be attached to money, but it is not the root of all evil. Although there are a myriad of causes of evil, we would claim that fear is the root of most evil. Understand that we do not use the term “evil” in our Realms, for we do not judge anything as good or bad. We accept all things as choices or experiences. It is up to the individual to decide which path to choose in each moment of existence. We know that each person will ultimately return to Source, bringing with him/her a wealth of experiences that each can share with the whole.

Mars, Saturn, and Neptune form a mutable t-square for the duration of this week, which becomes an ephemeral grand cross when the quickly transiting Moon enters the Gemini sign at the end of the week, October 1. The t-square and especially the grand cross have a karmic flavor, courtesy of Moon and Saturn. The aggressive Mars adds his passionate and active influence to the pattern via the earthy Virgo sign, and the cool, transcending Neptune in his home sign Pisces dominates the pattern as the strongest planet by sign. While the pattern can hardly be described as easy, many useful themes emerge from the tense aspects among the mighty planets. The inspiration to surmount obstacles despite the difficulties is certainly a salient theme this week. Overcoming past difficulties might be as well – can you finally cross the finish line somehow this week? Jupiter in Virgo has a subtle influence among the pattern formed by Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune, but perhaps he holds the key to dealing with the tense energies. Can seeing both the forest (big picture) and the trees (details) generate the results you need? The idea of personal growth combined with expanding limits is another relevant idea for this week.

"See how unloved you are," you may repeat to yourself. See all you don’t receive. See all that you have never received, or see all that has been taken from you. You may feel that life has not given you your due. One way or another, life has stolen from you. When this is what you surmise, what else can you be but bereft and misbegotten?

What if you are looking through the wrong end of the telescope?

Start all over. Start from the premise of love. Count the ways. You are entitled to love. You are entitled to breach your present perception. Toss out all that is not useful to you.

If the composition of your life at present is not in tune with love, then recompose your life. There are many notes available to you to choose from. Choose now.

If you have been playing bitter notes, change them. If you want a lighter tone to your life, you can have it. Come from a different premise. If you carry a burden, drop the idea of burden, and engage in sunlight over shadow. Do not sodden your life with dissatisfaction.

When is the last time you took a vacation?

The reason we love getting away on holiday is because it’s a break from reality, a temporary pause from the everyday stresses of life. When I was working in corporate, I use to take vacations and feel so balanced. I’d wonder how I could capture that holiday glow and bring back the peace of mind I managed to embrace on vacation.

Balanced people seem to effortlessly glide through life. They have a natural glow and seem to take everything in gentle stride. They are the perma vacationers.
