If you read my articles often, you probably know that I think music is one of the most spiritual things we can enjoy. I have reggae music to thank for this opinion, and I’ve always been impressed by how Rastas and other spiritual musicians impart their perspectives and philosophies into their music.

No matter how we feel about life and spirituality, if we practice music in conjunction with meditation or another form of consciousness exploration, it can help us elevate our consciousness while filling us with a sense of excitement and eternal enjoyment.

Music harnesses the sacred power of sound to help us raise our vibration, and like meditation or anything else, all it takes to get the most out of it is commitment. Not only will we get better and better if we play continuously – we’ll also increase our reception to music’s spiritual properties.

As you are continuing to shift and move into new navigating systems, a very helpful approach is to simply say, “Let my love lead the way.” Such an intention makes decision making far easier. It helps you to operate from a place of inclusion and unity, which also means loving yourself as an integral part of the process. What will you do today, my love?  Will you spend your day in pursuit of things like gossip, negative self-talk, worrying or, Heaven forbid, hating another human being?  Or…will you spend that time more wisely by loving yourself, releasing old hurts and pains or, perhaps, giving something to another that money just cannot buy?

The history of astrology is in many ways the history of a polemic. The question of whether astrology works, as crucial as it is, is soon buried under other issues, such as what this might have to say about human free will and whether the stars and planets that govern our fates are benign, malevolent, or neither. These issues have been debated for thousands of years.

Before we get into them, however, we should probably begin with why astrology is the way it is. To do this, we have to imagine what ancient people saw and how they explained it. In the first place, they would have found that there are seven bodies in the sky that move (or, as we would say today, appear to move) around the earth. These are the sun and the moon as well as five planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The rest of the planets are invisible (except for Uranus, under some circumstances) to the naked eye.

BAGGAGE CHECK   How does one get weighed down so readily in this Realm? Negative belief codes are like magnets, drawing unto them more negative thoughts and beliefs. Once one begins to understand the nature of thoughtforms and how they manifest into physical reality, one can begin to unravel the entangled mess, one layer at a time until it is fully dissolved. Like any void on Earth, once something is removed, something else attempts to fill the void. Thus, it is important to fill the gap of the unwanted thoughtforms with those that are more appealing.

Thoughtforms create reality, so choose those that will lead you to the outcome you desire. When you have a thought that is unsettling or undesirable to you, immediately think again by choosing thoughts that will lead you toward your chosen destiny. Low-density thoughtforms vibrate at a slower speed. This slow speed allows it to interact with physical matter. In this way, dis-eases are born. Higher frequency vibrations run through the body, sending sparklets of light and love as it flows through. In this way, when you exchange lower thoughtforms with those that are of higher frequencies, such as love and peace, you in essence are lightening your load. You will fly through your day with less weight bearing down upon you.

Everyone knows that the swastika is a symbol of hatred and cruelty, synonymous with fascism that led to one of the most destructive wars humanity has ever witnessed. But did you know that before the Nazis used it, this symbol had a history dating back almost 12.000 years?

The swastika was an auspicious symbol with positive connotations that represented life, sun, power, strength, and good luck. The oldest swastika dating back 12.000 years was discovered in Mezine, Ukraine, carved on an ivory figurine. Pottery and coins from ancient Troy dating back to 4.000 B.C. reveal that the swastika was a commonly used symbol. It had been used by Hindus and Buddhists in India and other Asian countries, who thought of it as an important symbol of good fortune, prosperity, and eternity. Moreover, artifacts that have been discovered indicate its use by the ancient Druids, the Celts, Nordic tribes as well as Native Americans.
