Yet, the endless cycle of working to buy has never been more rampant than it is now. How did the United States, a nation founded on Puritan, non-materialistic tenants become filled with the biggest shoppers on the planet and end up occupying 29% of the World’s consumer market? As it turns out, Americans were carefully and systematically manipulated into becoming insatiable shoppers.

The source of expression and manifestation, the fifth chakra: Vishuddha (translates to ‘especially pure’), the throat chakra, is the purification center which gives voice to our spirit. This is where energy transforms into our manifestations in the physical world. Situated at centre of the throat, the fifth chakra is associated with creativity, truthfulness, sound vibrations, honesty, loyalty and gentleness.

Lucid dreaming is one of the most extraordinary experiences you could have as a human being.  Being awake within a dream, you are able to consciously interact with it just as you interact in the real world. Everything is saturated with colour and vibrantly alive, and it feels far more real than waking life does.

There are many practical benefits to lucid dreaming.  For me personally, it reminded be of how much life is like a dream and helped me appreciate the impermanence of reality.  It helped me cultivate more consciousness and awareness in waking life by reminding me that I don’t have to be a victim to my surroundings, and can instead become lucid and take control.  It also led to both of my out-of-body experiences.

Lucid dreaming can propel you into a higher understanding of yourself and the reality you live in during your waking life.  On top of being exhilarating and fun, it’s also a very useful catalyst for spiritual expansion.

With the current major drought in California, being prepared for anything is probably a good idea.

Most Prepper types that I know appear to have a common trait: they are good at evaluating risks then moving to mitigate those risks in a nimble manner.  What that means, in somewhat plainer English, is they have the ability to evaluate a situations, make a plan, learn from it, and ultimately act in a responsible manner.

Along those lines, more recently I have done some personal analysis and put more focus on what I call “hard times ahead”.  With my disaster preps more or less in order, I want to ensure that my own household will get through a period of difficulty when, for instance, there is not enough food, work, or money to go around.

Dear Ones, whenever something is less than desirable in your external world, the answer always exists internally. The faster you understand that the only thing you have control over is you and your own energetics, the faster you will avoid wasting your time and effort trying to force external change.

Two simple questions will put you right back into your authentic power. The first is, How am I blessed right now? The second is, How can I embody love? It is always, always true that appreciation and love are the answer to put you back in your highest alignment and to energetically pave the road for more satisfying results. ~Archangel Gabriel

Whether or not we feel like we’re good at something, I think we should pursue it if it inspires us and lights our inner fire. We aren’t here to impress anybody – we’re here to elevate the collective vibration and have fun doing it.

All we have to do is believe in ourselves and our mission on this evolving planet to realize that we don’t necessarily have to be skilled at something to pursue it. We’ll want to hone our craft so we can use it to uplift and inspire others, however, and anything we want to pursue will require some work.

We can’t perfect something overnight, and even when it comes to things we have a natural talent for, we’ll want to consistently practice if we want to use them to help others.

Our society has pretty high expectations, and people only seem to listen to someone who has a lot of talent or has proven they can impress the masses. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with this, and it’s good to aim as high as we can because it inspires us to develop our talent.
