The Ego-dominated mind plays its games in daily life, and creates the characters and scenarios necessary for the games. The content of such a scenario is determined by the individual’s environment and upbringing, that is, the culture in which we grow up. As a result, entirely different scenarios are created in the various cultures of our Earth.

At the beginning of our journey, we identify with these scenarios. The scenarios provide us with the sense of a solid identity. The patterns of thoughts fixed in the scenarios are manifested in various mind games during our daily life.

In the course of our journey leading to Consciousness, our objective should not be creating a positive character, and thus a pleasant scenario, but finding the Existence behind every scenario. The first step is examining the scenarios, these conditioned thought-patterns, in the light of Consciousness. Let us first examine some of our most extensive mind games that are rooted deepest.

Do not cast yourself out from My love. Because you may feel depressed, downtrodden, unappreciated and so on is no reason to cast Me from your heart. Believe it or not, I am your Best Friend. Sometimes you feel that I am your Only Friend. Sometimes you feel that everyone has let you down, and you are stranded and you ask where am I when you need Me. This could even be a slogan in your life. Where is God when I need Him the most?
 
It is hard for you to accept that in times of what you perceive as trouble, I am right by your side, holding you in My arms. This isn’t satisfying to you. You are thinking more like: “Well, prove it to me, God. I beg You to show me that You are by my side. I would give a lot to know You are by my side.”
 
Darlings, it would appear in Truth that you would give very little. Your best friend is not always someone who does your bidding.
 
I am a Giver, yet I do not always give you what you want. This is not punishment. This is not neglect. You feel you are abandoned for no good reason. You can’t figure out even one plausible reason. You wonder:
 
“What can God be thinking?” 
 
If you could understand, you would not be in the state of mind you find yourself in. Please understand that from your point of view, at present, you cannot understand. You cannot see. You cannot hear. How could you? The question of your life and the proclivities of it are not within your range. It is hard for you to trust.

HJ: Every thought we think can either be self defeating or life affirming.  And it is the art of shifting those thoughts from self defeating to life affirming that is a large part of our healing journey throughout this life.  The process of doing so teaches us a great deal about ourselves and helps us learn the lessons we came here on a soul level to experience and gain.

Call them the products of fear. Advertisers, like politicians, know it works. If you scare people enough, they are easily sold a bill of goods. Define a problem, even if it really isn’t a problem, then bombard the masses with the solution to the (non) problem.

In the introduction to AlterNet’s new series on the politics of fear, Don Hazen wrote, “Americans are endlessly bombarded with media messages that are fearful and deceitful. Almost daily, we are urged to fear exaggerated or fake threats… this media onslaught literally shapes how our brains work and what people believe.” These threats can be huge, like terrorism lurking around the corner, or they can be minor, like the need to protect your baby’s knees from the hazards of crawling. The common denominator is that these aren’t really such huge problems and you are being subjected to the hard sell. Selling fear makes lots of money, and America is nothing if not a place to make money.

In the near future, it may become possible to extract sensitive information from the brain with the help of invasive software or spyware.

It is not really important if you want to share this information with anyone or not because this software will force you to do it against your will.

Your thoughts will no longer be only yours.

At USENIX Security conference, scientists showed that it is really possible to “program” your mind through software to force you to reveal information that all people would prefer not to share with the world.

The Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) becomes more and more cheap and widely used. As stated in the research paper on the feasibility of side-channel attacks with brain-computer interfaces, this system analyzes brain activity and thus makes communication between a user and an external device possible. In recent decades, the BCI has been applied mainly in the medical field and was aimed at increasing the quality of life for patients suffering from severe neuromuscular disorders.

The most widely sought after experience in the world is happiness. Some call it love, joy, source, contentment, completion, God, the cure, peace, healing, or nirvana.

Because there will never be a definition expansive enough to describe the power that holds the universe together, or fully explain what set the cosmic mass in motion, the words we choose to express the only thing we really want are irrelevant. Words are symbols of symbols and are indications of our heartfelt desires.

Let’s take a look at the trigger points and what it takes to remember what is already at our core. Happiness must be inherent in who and what we are or the goal would be forever unattainable and always out of reach. Simply put, this means we have blocks that need to be removed to get to the foundation and reality of our essence.
