The hedonic treadmill – or hedonic adaptation – are psychological terms used to describe the theory that humans have a base line emotional state that we all inevitably return to after events that cause us great happiness and personal gain or mass loss and sadness.

The consumer and capitalist ideals conditioned into and practiced by the majority of westerners is a prime example of this theory. Not a long period of time exists between obtaining a new sports car, a new job promotion or the latest smart phone until the insatiable desire for then next best thing is set into motion.

Let it be made clear that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the desire to strive, achieve and obtain. It is our birthright to pursue our passions and embody our dreams and ultimately to optimize ourselves. Yet there is a firm difference between achieving a goal and valuing the outcome in comparison to seeing an endeavor to completion to then disregarding the results in favor of continual and constant progression.

Becoming a miracle worker and knowing the joys of true magic comes naturally on the path to becoming whole.  To be a miracle worker means that you allow yourself the option of being multi-sensory/dimensional.

We are body (physical) and soul (esoteric) and the soul is not governed by the same set of rules as the physical world. Laws do not limit the miracle worker, for we transcend reality.

A whole new world opens up when one steps into the esoteric parts of ones soul to form a balanced flow between the soul and body.

The physical world could be seen as the arena for growth and expansion with the intent of evolving into higher dimensions of love and connection within the self and outside of ones self.

“How do I walk?” If you can imagine asking this as child then you can imagine asking, “how do I meditate?” as an adult. We were practically all greeted with smiles and joy as we learned how to walk and developed our muscles in order to walk. And one should meet the question, “how do I meditate?’ and take those first steps with the same joy, as if an infant taking his first steps.

How would you properly explain walking to an infant? Ok, remember, no hands. Stay upright. Lift one foot, set it forward, follow it with the other and follow it and then repeat. Be careful to watch where you are stepping because you can fall or stub your toe. Keep your toes up too so you don’t trip… 

And then what? Eventually, the infant must learn to embody this skill through experience. The infant must step forward on his or her own accord and invariably, there will be some falling. But those little falls, as shocking as they may be for one who has never fallen before, are best met with joyful laughter.

Meditation is invariably the same – we learn by taking on a practice...

Dear Ones, we ask you, how can you thrive if you are not even safe with yourself? Do you realize that your negative self talk is a form of abuse? That denying your own needs is neglect? That keeping yourself from following your passions and interests is sentencing yourself to a life devoid of joy? That not allowing yourself to shine and experience life prevents you from finding your greatest purpose and satisfaction in life?

We urge you to stop using the tools of the abuser on yourself! You are an absolutely precious, divine, vital, beautiful part of the whole. You are Source energy in perfect form. You are part of the ground team, driving a process on your planet that is the talk of the universe. It is time to own who you really are, not in a boastful or egotistical way, but as a means of finally claiming your birthright and your truth.

You are enlightening beings, and what is at the core of enlightenment is love. It makes no sense to seek that love, and deny it at the same time. Again, all great shifts begin within. Moving into unconditional love and acceptance of self is the most important first step, because that is what will create the firm foundation everything else will be built upon. I’ve probably said what I’m going to say before, but if so, it bears repeating. I use writing in two ways: to express myself and let the universe express itself through me, and I’ve been thinking a lot about my writing and the ‘Voice Within’ messages I’ve been publishing lately.

I told myself at first that I’d bring through and publish a ‘Voice Within’ message once a day (with the exception of weekends, because everyone needs a break every now and then), but it requires more work than I anticipated.

I don’t know what it’s like for most people who channel or intuitively communicate, but for me, the words pour through in a way that makes proper spelling practically impossible.

You are living in an amazing time with amazing power. Send something into The Universe and it comes back to you. Send love, even to those things you dislike. Love always comes back. ~ Creator

Astrology’s Enormous Changes At the Last Minute

Never mind the calendar and the weather. The most active time of the year has arrived. March puts us through a gauntlet of flaring passions, fire bombs, eruptions, earthquakes, departures, and shape shifts that stabilize surprisingly quickly.
