Gamma brainwaves are at 32-64 cycles per second, this is the maximum stress the being can handle and eventually results in death. On the surface most things appear to be the same. Earth still turns around its axis and around the sun. The stars still sweep across the night sky. Rain falls, rivers run and life goes on.
