How Dehydration Affects your Body
Water is a basic necessity in order to maintain a healthy body and a clear mind. Since the human body is two third water, hydration affects almost all functions of the body – temperature control, cognitive functions, kidney function, physical performance, energy levels, gastrointestinal function, heart function, headache, skin and other chronic diseases.
If we were to ask you, whether you are hydrated right now or not, most of you would not know the correct answer to that. The general tendency to connect physiological thirst with water, is what makes us miscalculate the hydration levels. But to say how much water one should drink is a difficult thing, as it is a subjective measurement depending upon one’s lifestyle, physical activity level and energy expenditure.

Releasing The Past
One of the most challenging things you will do as a human is letting go of things from the past. What you have gone through may have had such an impact that you do not believe you will ever be able to release them to The Universe. Even though it may feel as if you are leaving a good friend behind, it is necessary to trust that they will be taken care of for you. Once you are able to do this, my beloved child, you will open new avenues of growth and learning and know that, throughout everything, you are protected and loved beyond measure. ~ Creator

The True Revolution
Frank M. Wanderer, Ph.D., Contributor
Waking Times
If we take a look at the events of our world, we will easily realize that we live in revolutionary times. The revolution of our days is, however, entirely different from any other revolutions in human history. This revolution is not launched in order to rearrange the domain of forms and shapes, so as to replace old and outdated forms and shapes with new, dynamic and vivid ones. This revolution is able to take humanity beyond forms and shapes. The revolution of our time is the revolution of the Consciousness.
Consciousness, which has been sound asleep under the spell of identification with the forms and shapes for thousands of years, is slowly waking up in our days. There is an increasingly powerful alarming impulse, and the number of people sensitive to the wake up call is getting bigger and bigger.

Revitalize Your Passion for Life
By Christine Horner
Guest Writer for Wake Up World
We’ve been fortunate enough to survive the “me” generation to learn that life is much more inclusive than it used to be. Thanks to social media, “me” exploded into “we,” and a socially conscious generation was born. What was once considered personal fulfillment has changed for the better.
Flashback
Let’s have a little fun, shall we? Even if you were born circa 1990 or later, we’re pretty sure you’ll enjoy this quick reprise of a few of you or your parents’ greatest hits. You might even laugh out loud to discover how seriously you took life back then.
A few decades ago, you may remember that life got really big. Big hair, big shoulders, big houses and big mini-vans. Music videos and Madonna’s material world allowed us to dream bigger than we ever had before. We thought we’d finally made it, and that there was no turning back as to what we could personally achieve.

This Is What Shamanism Can Teach Us About Ourselves And Our Future
Source: www.themindunleashed.org | Original Post Date: March 11, 2015 –

Shamanism is a topic that is still more prevalent in anthropologic studies than in mainstream discussions of culture and society. For the western psyche, shamanism is a thing of the past, some type of sorcery used in relatively ‘primitive’ societies and cultures. The lack of understanding inherent in this cultural bias or stereotype prevents us from appreciating what shamanism is all about and more interestingly, how it is relevant to today’s society and to our future more than ever before.
Shamanic wisdom has been partly transmitted down through the eons and fragments of it still survives in certain cultures that preserve and honor their ancient heritage. Interestingly, there are also individuals coming outside this cultural lineage who have learned and are practicing shamanism in 21st century society. These are the modern day shamans who are contributing to what Terence McKenna called the archaic revival.
Emotions and Truth: Our Human Experience
By Dr. Michelle Kmiec
Contributing Writer for Wake Up World
Emotions spontaneously arise each day despite our efforts to control them. They often surface without warning, whether we want them to or not. Fortunately, many of these emotions translate as pleasurable ones – feelings of joy, contentment and love. However, like it or not, there are times when less than desirable emotions come forth – anger, frustration or possibly fear. But experiencing these unpleasant emotions is not necessarily a bad thing.
Emotions play a major role in who we are as individuals and are the driving force behind how we interpret events we encounter. The question then becomes, is our reaction based on reality?

Daily Message ~ Tuesday September 1, 2015
Many of you understand the necessity for healthy boundaries for yourselves, but still hesitate to move into them because you feel like they are somehow cruel to others. Dear Ones, hear us when we say that you cannot harm another by choosing healthy boundaries!
Usually your reluctance to create new healthier ways of interacting with others comes from the idea that they are somehow dependant upon you for wellness and they will fall apart if they don’t have you to hold them together. We invite you to stop and sit with the energy of that belief. Is their dependance upon you appropriate? Is it a true solution to help them move into their self responsibility, truth, and authentic power? Does it help them discover and trust their own capability?
Having healthy boundaries is wonderfully supportive to you and your wellness, but equally important, it allows others to discover their own inner ability to create the wellness they’ve been seeking all along in an authentic and lasting way, and that, Dear Ones, is empowerment. ~Archangel Gabriel

The Poor Get Prison: The Alarming Spread Of The Criminalization Of Poverty
Source: www.revolution-news.com | Original Post Date: –
This report provides a new understanding of the growing ways in which those in poverty are disproportionately targeted, marginalized, and prosecuted.
Poor people, especially people of color, face a far greater risk of being fined, arrested, and even incarcerated for minor offenses than other Americans. A broken taillight, an unpaid parking ticket, a minor drug offense, sitting on a sidewalk, or sleeping in a park can all result in jail time. In this report, we seek to understand the multi-faceted, growing phenomenon of the “criminalization of poverty.”
In many ways, this phenomenon is not new: The introduction of public assistance programs gave rise to prejudices against beneficiaries and to systemic efforts to obstruct access to the assistance.
