Social and cultural change is occurring fast right now across this planet, and it looks as if it will accelerate further. Many people are experiencing a wide range of personal impacts, disruptions, and rearrangements in their lives. At the same time, we are also seeing how our social infrastructures, modes of communication, and connectivity are adjusting and shifting to these changes. Within the last 150 years alone we have witnessed an amazingly rapid process of transition in human civilization, perhaps even without being consciously aware of it. In terms of the bigger picture, this is an incredibly swift rate of change.

The ebb and flow of human history has cradled the gradual unfolding of the individual and the growing responsibility that this implies. This emerging ‘blooming of the individual’ has occurred alongside the story of the slow decline in aristocracy, elite rule, and the demise of tyranny. This human story has accelerated in recent centuries, with the fall of feudalism; the birth of democracy; and the growth of an increasingly connected global humanity. Alongside this we have also seen the increasing acceptance and sharing of planetary values. We could say that human society is in the early contractions of the birth of a planetary civilization.

The energy of The Fool is one we can all identify with. For most of us, there is a lot of embarrassment, shame, humiliation, panic, and anxiety around the idea of being the center of attention for all the wrong reasons. It can feel as though the entire universe is pointing and laughing.

The avoidance of the energy of The Fool is a built-in part of our navigation system. So, wanting to steer clear of situations that might put us in that unpleasant position, many of us suppress our natural desire for free expression, particularly in social situations.

Dear Ones, as you navigate shifting energies, your attitude about those energies will have much to do with how enjoyable you find the experience.

Think of being on a roller coaster ride. If you are resisting, in fear, and completely focused on it being a horrible experience, you will find the ride long, bumpy, and thoroughly unpleasant. If you embrace the experience, feel the exhilaration and approach it with an attitude of fun, you will throw your hands up in the air and enjoy every twist and turn.

Make no mistake, you will end up at the finish no matter how you approach the experience, but it is totally up to you how much you enjoy the ride. ~Archangel Gabriel

Intuition is the language of the soul. We’re all born aware with a profound sense of inner knowing. It’s one of the greatest gifts we possess, which keeps us connected to our higher selves, the universe, and to our divine spirit. At one time or another, we will all experience flashes of intuition, especially when it’s vying for our attention. It’s those hunches, or gentle nudges, that we so often ignore or try to wave off as being simply our imagination – only to find out later that it was correct.

Intuition is natural and you have to realize that we’re all equipped with a complex and highly tuned inner-guidance system, which we can access and use anytime we wish. Receiving intuitive information is all about energy, and people, places, and objects are all comprised of it. Since you too are energy, you can receive and read information via your intuitive senses.

God said:

Odds are that you see offense where there is none. Odds are that you see a picture from your past rather than a picture from the present, and you unconsciously react to the picture you see in your mind and not to what is before you. The person before you, somehow, reminds you of your mother or your father or a sister or brother who didn’t value you. You continue to feed on the past sacrilege of you. A pattern appears in your life, and it’s hard to shake. You feed upon what once was. You are looking for justice from an innocent party.

On the other hand, someone can take offense at what you say, and you are standing there with your mouth open – “Wha…? I absolutely meant no offense. I wasn’t putting you down. I had no such idea in my head. Not at all.” Now you feel discounted because the person you were talking to transposed an earlier offense from his past onto you and faulted you.

And, in turn, when you are offended, your interpretation is also far off. It is like there is a little camera within your mind that overlays the actual snapshot with a camera shot from the past that was and should not have been.

Will you admit that you are sometimes too quick to take offense? You can trace what triggers your upset. What offends you falls into certain categories, most often in areas of your competency.

Anyone remotely familiar with Shakespeare knows that he sometimes employed the use of a commentator or “observer” in his plays, who periodically remarked, often satirically, on the action. Unlike a mere narrator, however, this type of character speaks essentially as a member of the audience, openly acknowledging that, yes, this is a play. In theater, this device is called “breaking the fourth wall,” with the idea that the stage has three walls (two sides, one back), with the fourth being the imaginary wall between the players and the audience. Wikipedia describes it as follows:

“The fourth wall is the imaginary ‘wall’ at the front of the stage… through which the audience sees the action in the world of the play…. Speaking directly to or otherwise acknowledging the audience through a camera in a film or television program, or through this imaginary wall in a play, is referred to as ‘breaking the fourth wall’ and is considered a technique of meta-fiction, as it penetrates the boundaries normally set up by works of fiction.”

For most people, emotional intelligence (EQ) is more important than IQ when it comes to achieving success in their lives and careers.

Our career success depends on our ability to read other people’s signals and react to them accordingly. Therefore, each of us needs to develop the skills of emotional intelligence for better understanding and negotiating with other people.
