I don’t know how this ascension process is affecting all of you, but personally, I’m going through a massive internal transformation. This will probably become more apparent in the work I do and the subjects I explore from here on out, and to put it bluntly, I’m ready to rise up and take charge of this life.

I’m ready to really use my voice, and I’m ready to tap into my higher, intuitive wisdom and my grounded, earthy wisdom at the same time. I’m ready to take charge of this life and become a voice for other people to hopefully benefit from, and my goals now stretch beyond simply wanting to uplift people.

I still want to uplift all of you who’ve dedicatedly read my work over the years, but I’m ready to do more than just that. I’m ready to empower people and encourage them to empower themselves.

There is so much spiritual information floating around of varying quality, and for people who are just starting to awaken and connect with the spiritual aspects of life, it can be a challenge to discern the true gems from the trash.

I decided to compile some tips I have pieced together in relation to seeking external information and mentoring along my journey, and share it here today in hopes it helps others on their path to navigate the ‘spiritual minefield’.

Of course there are many fantastic teachers and teachings out there… finding them is all about discernment.

We have all been through personal suffering but only some of us have broken mostly free of it. One way that is becoming more and more common in an ‘awakening’ society is to embrace a philosophy of unity and live via the principles of love and light. But ultimately, it doesn’t matter how much peace we create within, the outside world – which is us – remains in a chronic state of suffering and chaos.

To the more enlightened individual, it’s as if we’re living in ‘Crazy Town’. Seriously, everywhere we look we see madness. It dominates our media, governments, corporations, and even scientific establishments. And so, if we no longer want to live alone in Crazy Town, embracing the love and light within (as well as the dark side of our inner duality too) is really only one side of the awakening story. While this madness continues, the awakening and empowerment of our society is just as important as the awakening of our Self. We need to actively manifest change in the outer world if we’re ever going to transcend this madness.

Everyone’s invited to attend the party that the conscious community has started, and no matter what your beliefs are or how you interpret the spiritually driven changes that are occurring in our society, you’re welcomed here.

We don’t all have to agree with each other to get the most out of our respective interpretations of our spiritual evolution, and it’s healthy to have different beliefs that we can debate and, at the end of the day, respect each other for.

I subscribe to the idea that nobody really understands what’s going on right now, no matter how close they feel they are with spirit or a higher consciousness, but this doesn’t invalidate the idea that we should all come together and figure out how we can create the kind of world we’ve been waiting for.

Everyone’s perspective is valuable, and nobody should be left out of the creation of a new world. No matter where you come from or how you define your spirituality, your perspective is monumentally important.

We have to trust each other if we want to change anything about our clearly defunct society, and the conscious community will have trouble changing the world if we’re too busy fighting amongst each other over our philosophical differences.

So many human beings dislike change because they fear that change may bring unwanted things with it. In reality, you are all beings of change, constantly growing and evolving, shifting and expanding. Change is what will bring you all the wonderful things in your life that you desire, and will also keep you moving into the greatest potentials of your life expression.

We understand that many of you have negative connotations connected to the word change. So use a different word! What if you exchanged the word change for the word improvement? How much easier would it be to embrace the idea of continual improvement for you? You always get to choose, Dear Ones, which energies and intentions you attach to any aspect of your life. ~Archangel Gabriel
