The Taurus New Moon invites us to sink into the physicality of the here and now. This year’s model is hardly stuck on the earth plane, though. This Taurus New Moon takes us far from the surface in both directions, lifting us into transcendence (or escapism) while stirring the most primal of cravings.

Focus is now flowing to resources that nourish and support our existence, and all the better if they delight us, too: Aromatic flowers and herbs. Fresh fruit that explodes with flavor and juiciness when you bite into it. Sensual fabrics and, of course, sensual touch. Don’t forget cash, too, not merely to pay us for our talents, but also to make it possible to acquire the delights we can’t produce on our own.

A new report based on the testimonies of more than 60 Israeli soldiers is making its way around the web. It outlines how the massive civilian death toll from last summer’s Israeli assault on Gaza resulted from “a policy of indiscriminate fire.” The group of soldiers have come together to express that what happened in Gaza, and what continues to happen, is a “broad ethical failure” that “comes from the top of the chain of command.” During the 50 days of the assault last summer, more than 2,100 Palestinians in Gaza were killed, the majority of which were civilians, including more than 500 children.

Arise. Stand in for Me. All that you desire Me to be is contained within you. You are a keeper of the Trust, shall We say. I trust in you. I have invested Myself in you and thoughts of you and attention on you. You who art the seekers of My trust are also the keepers of My trust, and so are you One with Me, and I – I am One with you. Together, We can do anything.

In Me you trust, and I trust in you. Yes, you can rely on Me, yet relying on Me doesn’t mean that you are to sit around waiting for Me as if you were helpless. I rely on you to take care of what is yours to take care of. I never intended you to ask Me to do what is yours to do. I rely on you to further your goals. If you want to start a business, you are the one who starts it. Truly, I serve you, and, truly, you must serve Me Who art your very Self.

You don’t recline and eat bon-bons while you wait for Me to deliver your dreams fulfilled. You were never meant to be incapable. I have asked you to take responsibility for yourself. I ask you to help others, and yet you have learned that you can help others too much and that this is not a favor to anyone either. You cannot take over for everyone, for then you may foster a dependency that is not helpful. Beloveds, I am God, yet I am not a lamp you rub. Yes, I come to your aid. You do not know how many times.

Recently we’ve experienced the last of seven Pluto-Uranus squares. It was quite a ride since the first square of this series occurred in 2012. Personally, it felt like my life was being taken apart, spit out and reassembled, diving into the shadow and bringing it into the light of awareness, integrating unconscious aspects as they were being mirrored back to me in everyday life situations. Something seems to be accelerating in the “field”, I can feel it in my body.

A big shift has happened within myself, which is something that is very hard to put into words – perhaps some of you can relate to this? It’s akin to a new frequency/vibration which has anchored itself, forcing me towards a new approach, encouraging me to let go of outdated belief systems/views, trusting myself more, and engaging with my intuition as I go beyond the limits of the rational/logical mind.

As a psychiatrist my job is to read people, not just what they say, but who they are. Interpreting verbal and nonverbal cues, I want to see past their masks into the real person. Logic alone won’t tell you the whole story about anybody. You must surrender to other vital forms of information so that you can learn to read the important non-verbal intuitive cues that people give off. To do this, you must also be willing to surrender any preconceptions, or emotional baggage such as old resentments or ego clashes, that stop you from seeing someone clearly. The key is to remain objective and receive information neutrally without distorting it.
