There is a war going on right now, as you are reading this.

It is a war that all of us are participating in, whether we know it or not.

And it is a war whose stakes are so high that the very future of our economy, our environment and our children’s lives depend on the outcome.

This battle is a battle for ideas — the beliefs and values that govern how the entire world works. And the only way to join the battle is to question your own assumptions and make sure that what you believe — about yourself, the world, and the connections between the two — fits what you feel in your deepest core. You, me and everyone else who cares about our shared future as a species must do this if we are to thrive ourselves; and ensure our world thrives too. As William Blake said: We “must create a system or be enslaved by another man’s.”

Though the Seeker is invariably one who geographically covers a fair few kilometers, they are defined by their thirst for knowledge and smashing the mold that has been set for them by their parents and peers.

Held up at libraries, much like the Academic, Scribe or Writer Archetype who pours over ancient texts in the hope they might come across some transformative treasure or alchemic recipe to bring them closer to God. The Seeker is unstoppable in their desire to grow.

A few days ago, a writing notion came to me that I entitled, “It’s Taken This Long.” The idea was to outline our long, shared journey and provide a snapshot of where we stand on a number of areas, such as education, health, energy, and environment. Disheartened, the title changed to, “This is NOT the World We Need.” Things turned rather depressing, since so many of us are all living these realities. It would not be anything we did not already know. We might agree that we are overdue for a bit of spring cleaning.

Hence, it changed yet again to its current and newest title. Sweeping changes are what we need, really. Considering the fact that we are all here for a reason at this particular time, there is the definite possibility that we will see, and many of us may very well cause, sweeping changes to transpire. As mentioned above, there is no “one” thing that must be fixed, there are many. From systems like education, energy, and health, to the smaller choices, like the type of diet we eat and mindful words we emit from our mouths, we are, in fact, making sweeping changes take place.

The only known prehistoric underground temple worldwide is located in Malta. Dating back to 5.000 B.C, “Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni” or simply “Hypogeum”, from the Greek word hypo (under) and gaia (mother earth) is an underground construction, which consists of interconnecting chambers in three levels. Hypogeum, carved into 2.000 tons of stone, was discovered in 1902 by construction workers while working on the foundations of a building.

The first excavator of this underground construction was Fr Emmanuel Magri. He worked there between 1904 and 1906, but his notes were lost after his death in Tunisia. Magri was succeeded by Sir Themistocles Zammit until 1911.

Archaeologists believe Hypogeum was used until 2500 B.C. Although its original purpose is unknown, they are sure that it was used as a burial place.

Dear Ones, when did joy become frivolous to human beings? When did you adopt the idea that it was irresponsible? That it was meant to be enjoyed sporadically, and only when all your duties were done?

Hear us when we say the path of joy is how you find your passions and your purpose. It is the true guidance system of the empowered human beings. Further, joy holds such a beautiful, high energy that it serves not only you and others, but also supports the energetics of your planet. Thus, following your joy is an act of service.
