Sensitive people don’t just get their feelings hurt easily – that’s not what sensitivity is about. One of their traits is feeling the emotions of other people. There is not one light for Christians, a different light for Jews, yet another light for Muslims, and still another light for Hindus and Buddhists. In all NDEs, there is a single universal all- encompassing Light, which exhibits three attributes: love, life, and intelligence or wisdom. These three attributes repeatedly appear in NDEs (Near Death Experiences). Specifically, such appearances of light generally occur in the eighth stage of more advanced NDE’s . Researchers have outlined the stages of NDEs as follows.

NDE Stage 1. In the first stage, persons undergoing an NDE generally experience some form of strange or altered state of consciousness without pain or bodily sensation.

The art of compromise means finding a middle ground that satisfies both parties. It is not continually denying yourself or consistently giving your power away in order to get along or not rock the boat. If you make a habit of ignoring your own needs, it will always lead to resentment, which will slowly but surely erode your relationships.

Channeling (or intuitive communication) can be easier than a lot of seekers have made it out to be, and the same can be said with any creative act you enjoy or you feel like you should embrace and use to advance humanity’s evolution.

These things don’t have to be as difficult as many of you have let them be, and for the most part, all it takes is an active interest and enthusiasm in them to hone them to the point you want them at.

You’ll always meet stumbling blocks along the way; you’ll always have difficulty that you’ll sometimes wonder why you can’t seem to surpass, but difficulty can only bring you down or keep you from honing your craft if you let it.

While there are a lot of unique ways to express our spirituality, I notice that there are two primary ways people choose to express theirs. The first is from a New Age perspective, which promotes the idea that we’re physically and spiritually evolving into a higher state of consciousness and we can communicate with entities in higher realms who want to help us.

The second is from a more centered, levelheaded perspective that recognizes the importance of inner work and self-growth, as opposed to waiting around for things to manifest.

The New Age movement is often criticized by the rest of the conscious community, and if a spiritual practice or perspective seems misaligned with the philosophies of self-growth and self-empowerment, it’s usually called New Agey. It’s as if ‘New Age’ has become a term to describe a form of spirituality that everyone should stay away from.

One of the hidden messages we received growing up includes the idea that we are not good enough just the way we are. This makes it feel as though we must earn the qualities for which we long, such as love. Constantly looking for fulfillment outside ourselves is a recipe for disaster. What we most desperately seek dwells within. Sure we can get some love from the outside but it becomes a different animal when one depends on it. As the saying goes, if we feed a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day but if we teach him how to fish he’ll eat forever. Learning to connect with the soul shows us that its presence is unconditional. It does not depend on us being good enough.

The soul has always been with us exactly right where we are in this exact moment but the personality blocks our awareness of its presence. The survival of the personality downplays the soul’s importance. The personality feels pressure to remain attached to something at all costs. Here is the lack of self-esteem disguised as attachment. The personality does not believe it will survive if it lets go. It obtains the illusion of survival from the attachment. Unfortunately the survival is more like spiritual death because it encourages disconnection with the soul, the source of real life.
