You know what’s great about advanced energies like energy efficiency, solar, and wind? They create a lot of jobs. And not bullshit part time minimum wage jobs that have dominated the economic recovery since the great recession of 2008, but honest middle class jobs.

According to the California Advanced Energy Employment Survey, advanced energies provide 431,000 jobs in California, which is a 5% growth since 2013. Even more good news: the Golden State’s clean energy industries are slated to grow by 17% in 2015, adding another 70,000 jobs. California’s unemployment rate is 7.4%, higher than the national average, so those jobs are likely welcome.

Emotions coordinate our behavior and physiological states during survival-salient events and pleasurable interactions. Even though we are often consciously aware of our current emotional state, such as anger or happiness, the mechanisms giving rise to these subjective sensations have remained largely unresolved. Brilliant research by Finnish scientists has mapped the areas of our body that are experiencing an increase or decrease in sensory activity when we experience a particular emotion.

Depending on whether we are happy, sad or angry, we have physiological sensations that are not located in different areas of the body. We overlook this reality from one day to the next (the famous “lump in the breast” generated by anxiety, the feeling of warmth that pervades our face and our cheeks particularly when we feel the shame…), and do not consciously realize how much the location of these body areas activated by our emotions and how they vary considerably depending on the nature of the emotion.

You are the Wonder of the World. Now I have said it. Look how far you have come! Aren’t you eons ahead from where you used to be?

You perhaps used to be selfish, and now you aren’t so much. Once upon a time, you knew so little, and now you know more, much more. You have doubled, tripled, quadrupled, and so forth, your growth. You are miles ahead. Confess, isn’t this true? You are a changed person. I will go so far as to say that you are a new person. Once you didn’t know anything that you know now, and now you know a lot. Once you knew nothing, and now you know something.

Do you have a ways to go? Most certainly, and you are getting here. Right and left, hand over fist, you are getting here, beloveds. You are way ahead of where you used to be. You are just beginning to catch up to yourself, up to realizing yourself for who you really and are meant to be. You never were the dolt you saw yourself to be, nor were you ever meant to lag behind or drag your feet. You do realize, don’t you, that you are meant to be – yes, I will say it -- wondrous.

The United States House Of Representatives has passed a bill designed to prevent qualified, independent scientists froma dvising the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA. Instead, these scientists will be replaced by industry affiliated choices who may or may not have any actual expertise in the field on which they’re advising, and whose paychecks may come from organizations and companies that oppose EPA actions.

HJ: When you know your mission, everything suddenly falls into place and your life really begins to becomes incredible.  Knowing your mission gives you context and clarity and is a key component of living a fulfilled life.  But be forewarned.  Mission’s change and evolve.  What is right for you now may not be in 5 years of even 5 months.  That is why it is important to cultivate your power of intuition to be able to tune into your inner wisdom and flow with the fluctuations that occur over your lifetime.  Nothing is static.  Change is the only constant.  Remember, you only need to know the next step, not the entire journey…
