Regardless of culture, humans seem to have a universal need to greet one another upon meeting and parting. Bowing in Japan, hand-clapping variations in African countries, and saying hello and shaking hands or hugging in English cultures – are just a few of the most commonly known salutations. While customs and traditions vary, there does seem to one greeting that is becoming more popular worldwide – that of Namaste.

Simplistic Gestures of Universal Oneness

Often used by Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, and other religions, Namaste is also revered within spiritual circles and meditation and yoga classes, and it’s being embraced far beyond its South Asian origins. You’ll often hear it spoken in combination with a slight bow and the Anjali Mudra – the placement of the hands together pulled close to the heart in a fashion similar to a prayer pose.

The age of armored masculinity is dead and dying at our feet. It’s a bloody tangle of weaponry and bloated egos glued together by myopic one-upmanship and congealed rage.

But buried in the rot and decay are the seeds of a new way of being a man in this world, a reawakening of our awareness of the sacred brought on by the reemergence of the divine feminine. No amount of armor can suppress it. No amount of weaponry can keep it at bay. The New Shiva is growing robust and powerful alongside the New Shakti. The world may not be ready for this New Man to emerge, but emerge he must, if we are to continue living on a planet which is demanding that a healthier more sustainable man appear.

What an experience is life in the world. What a diversion from the True Reality. What a contradiction the world is. How predisposed you are to contradictions, which are, ultimately, opposites. You have a mixed-up relationship with life in the world. You are rampantly pro and con. You judge the world mercilessly, and you are attached to the world just the same.
 
One day you were born to Earth. “What on Earth for?” you may wonder now. “Why am I here, and what am I meant to do while I am are here?”
 
Endless are the possibilities, and there seem to be no secure niches for you much of the time. There may be more than one actuality. I have said before that you don’t have to know what it is. You will get there. Some recognize. Some do not. Nevertheless, you will fulfill what you set out to do. You are the fulfiller of it.
 
That you are on Earth is greater than a mystery. You love a mystery, yet life may seem more like a dilemma that you find yourself in. You may feel that, in life, you are picked up by a big hand and placed in an arbitrary place with arbitrary people who have the say over you. You can’t wait to grow up and have some say over yourself, yet you still don’t feel much jurisdiction over yourself. You have to earn a living. You have to live somewhere. There are obstacles underfoot, and you crave so much more.

Video – Off the southern coast of Yonaguni, Japan, about 70 feet underwater lies a massive pyramid, often called the “Japanese Atlantis.” The site is dated to be at least 5,000 years old, and many experts believe that the site consists of remnants of an old city that existed above ground when the sea levels were much lower than they are today.

Some scientists think that the Yonaguni Pyramid is a natural structure resulting from tectonic activity, some believe it is man-made considering the various man and animal-like carvings, and some think that, similar to other monolithic sites, the pyramid was constructed by aliens. No one really knows the true history of this amazing structure. Check out this footage and share with us what you think.

Meet Senator David Norris. Norris is an academic and civil rights activist from Ireland. Norris has been raising hell in Ireland for decades, having been credited with successes like eliminating the anti-homosexuality law that was on the books back in 1988 after fighting it for 14 years.

This video of him popped up on the web recently and has been getting a lot of play time. In this video, he condemns Israel for their aggression in Gaza, saying that they’re simply using the holocaust as a means to perpetrate their own.
