Less than 24 hours after Denton became the first Texas city to ban fracking within city limits, the city is being sued. The Texas General Land Office and the Texas Oil and Gas Association are the first to challenge the new ordinance.

Denton voters passed the fracking ban by a 59-to-41 percent margin, becoming the first Texas city to ban fracking.

In Denver, where recreational marijuana is legal, residents have been complaining more often about nasty marijuana smells all over the place. Their assessment that the smell is so offensive isn’t one I agree with, but I will admit, as a Coloradan, I smell pot freaking all the time everywhere. More and more Denver citizens are calling for an anti pot-smell ordinance, and that’s where the smell-o-scope comes in.

Dream telepathy suggests that human beings have the ability to communicate telepathically with another person while they are dreaming. This isn’t a new concept, scientific interest in telepathy dates back to the fathers of the psychoanalytic movement. Freud, for example, considered telepathy and the implications of it with regards to psychoanalytic thought. I want to live in a world where we stop battling depression alone and we start standing together.  Where we arent afraid to look someone deeply in the eyes and say “I am going through hell” and they look back and say “I am too, and its ok…” and then we move forward united.

Is There a Connection Between Anger and Cancer?

One study showed that those with anger and cancer (and especially suppressed anger) had a much higher amount of stress… and thus with stress chemicals in their body can lead to physiological changes in the body.
