The desire to create is essential to the blueprint of each human soul. Creativity is our birthright and a primary purpose for incarnation in this realm.
Eastern philosophy cautions us that desire leads to suffering. It is important to recognize that void of desire, we would not create. Desire, in its purified state, is essential to carrying out the mission of the soul.
We may surmise that desire is the impulse behind the creation of the universe. Desire entices us into coexistence and co-creation with life. Desire is what motivates us to purify the mind.
The warning of the Buddha is well warranted, however. The human mind is stunningly complex and a great responsibility and challenge for us at this level in our spiritual evolution.
