Halloween is here. We now enter into yet another holiday geared towards stuffing the corporations pockets with our hard-earned money, not to mention the fact sugar is now considered by many to be an actual toxin to the human body. What are we doing to our children?

I know I must sound like the Grinch who stole Christmas, but it is this continual illusion so many remain locked into that really must end. We need to create a whole new set of holidays such as a holiday of Peace, a holiday of higher consciousness or perhaps a holiday for Love. Holidays with meaning and purpose, not mindless drivel set around corporate profits, but rather ones that move us within and bring forth open hearts. Imagine a holiday for Peace or Love! What a joyous occasion to share and what positive energy it would put forth into the world. How about a world hug day?

The apparition might be connected to hurricane Sandy. The core of the storm swept well north of Alabama, but Sandy's outer bands did pass over the area, apparently leaving behind a thin haze of ice crystals in cirrus clouds. Sunlight shining through the crystals produced an unusually rich variety of ice halos.
