This was not the post I expected to write. I was trying to write more about Love yesterday but something else kept coming out. I thought I knew what was “right” so I kept trying to fit what I was writing into the topic. Needless to say it did not end well. This morning as I awoke, I realized what the topic really was. My struggle in getting there is a clear example of what I am writing about Enjoy!

Everything that exists in the universe has consciousness, everything. Consciousness is what channels Love and holds it in place. Consciousness throughout the dimensions takes endless different forms and expressions. Consciousness is not necessarily aware. Many forms of consciousness just do what they do without thinking about it at all. Other forms have enough awareness to do what they do and experience it but not enough to question it or consider things, like self or other. Some forms follow very ridged rules of conduct. Others have more leeway in terms of how they can behave. There are very few forms of consciousness that have free will, the ability to choose from unlimited possibility in terms of how they will behave or what they will do. We have free will.

This is a Human Heart

Can you tell if it's from a US citizen? Or maybe from a Chinese or Spanish one?

Can you say if this Heart is in a Republican, Democrat, Green, Liberal body?

Is it a woman or a man? Maybe a child?

A piest or a pilot?

Or maybe it's yours?

Is it already Free to BE or is it still veiled by illusion?

Has the body bearing this Heart Loved or has it lost itSelf with hate?

Did it travel? Does it Love art or walking into Nature? Is it fulfilled or looking for itSelf?

I hold in my mind two contradictory attitudes. I stay with them, live inside them, dwell there. These are:

1. Re-elect Obama

2. Tear Down the System

How do I remain within this uncomfortable psychic space when everything in me screams to get out, to figure it out, to DO something?

That is the question. That is always the question.

And yet I know: only by remaining here, swinging in the wild wind of paradox, immersed in this creative, regenerative soup of unknowing, will the way forward reveal itself.

That’s a fine title if you like longer titles. I’m sitting here at Java writing this (btw if anyone comes here and sees me intense-looking-like-I’m-writing, thanks for waiting until I look up and finish the piece before bringing your java over to my table… glad to talk after I’m pau (Hawaiian for “finished”). For some reason I have to write this now.

So here’s the deal. I felt strongly drawn to Puuhonua o Honaunau yesterday in the later afternoon. I felt my body and spirit really wanted to get in the ocean over there (btw, every time I go there, it is always an adventure, and almost always a “mission”, of sorts, and that’s how it was yesterday; follow the Guidance, feel out where I am to jump in, and go, baby, go!).

Ocean was active. Found the place to jump in, fins on of course, and jumped just before a couple larger waves came in. Love it!

As I swam out and around the point, I saw the following things (in order of appearance):
