If you’ve ever wondered if the thousands of cell phone towers and electromagnetic signals permeating society nowadays could be potentially harmful to your body, mind and to the natural environment, you’re not alone. A small minority of people are so sensitive to electromagnetic radiation they’ve even been forced to move into cave-like domiciles designed to insulate them from such signals. We are, after all, energetic beings, as are all lifeforms, and although something may lie outside of our ordinary perception does not imply that it is harmless.

It turns out that electromagnetic signals from cell phone towers do in fact directly affect the human body in physical ways, and surprisingly, for amputees, common cellular signals can amplify sensations of pain in the body, when in the presence of such emissions.

A recently completed study led by members The University of Texas at Dallas gives concrete evidence that these types of now ubiquitous signals can actually amplify pain in some amputees by immediately stimulating nerve tissue that had suffered traumatic damage.

Milan, Italy — Milan is the most polluted city in Europe. In fact, the smog is so bad that in 2012, the country reported 84,000 premature deaths linked to poor air quality. Last year, both Milan and Rome introduced traffic bans to combat pollution.

Now city officials are trying something relatively new: paying commuters to bike to work. France tried this in 2014, when employees were offered 25 cents per kilometer traveled, but the program failed due to lack of citizen participation.

Religion has caused a lot of unnecessary pain to mankind, despite whatever truth and good intentions their followers may hold. Restrictive, false and dangerous religious beliefs abound throughout the world, and dominate the mainstream teachings of organized religion.

Some of these dangerous religious beliefs fool you into thinking you can out-source your morality, ethics or spirituality to some external organization. Others prevent you from taking full responsibility for yourself and your actions, thus hindering you from stepping fully into your power. Others goad you into a false sense of security where there is none. All of them limit you and the deeper realization of Who You Are, and all of them stem from the single fundamental delusion of separateness, i.e. that we are discrete and separate beings, that some people are better than others and that there is somewhere better you need to get to. It is an idea based on separateness leads to judgment and exclusion, and can never be as true and powerful as one based on connectedness.

Health officials and establishment doctors in West Virginia are not happy about giving the public greater access to raw milk. 

The governor of West Virginia recently signed a new bill that will make it easier for some people to access and consume raw cow’s milk, which may surprise those who had no idea that it is largely illegal in the United States to share, trade, or buy raw, unpasteurized milk.

On March 3, 2016, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, signed new legislation that would allow people to share ownership of a dairy animal in a legal arrangement called “herd sharing,” which allows for the owners to receive milk from that animal for personal consumption. One of the stipulations of the bill (SB 387) is that the individuals who purchase the animal must sign a disclaimer, verifying that they acknowledge the potential risks associated with consuming raw milk. West Virginia’s Department of Agriculture will also distribute rules regulating consumption and require health tests for the animals.

Life is indeed mysterious and magical. From birth we begin a personal journey of self-discovery. As we grow through childhood we begin to form our beliefs and opinions, deciding what we like and what we don’t like. We form our identities. For some, this journey continues to be all-encompassing, because they constantly analyze themselves and others. It can become so consuming and blinding that many become oblivious to the mysterious, until they are eventually forced into recognising its beauty.

The secret to a happy and fulfilling life is to recognise this beauty right now. We have a choice to see beyond our personal identification and obsession; in doing so we free ourselves from our limiting judgements and opinions, and our ideas about who we are and what we are capable of. Only when this happens can we experience the beauty of the mysterious and realize the simplicity of living a happy and fulfilled life.
