So many of you wish for movement when you are experiencing a lull. You can make yourselves quite uncomfortable by resisting the gift of that phase, by starting to judge it or making it wrong. Many others while in an action phase start to feel overwhelmed and yearn for the lull.

Dear Ones, you always have the supports you need. Each stage serves a purpose and is there to serve you. By fully embracing the gifts of either period you will be allowing the universe to beautifully provide for you and you can joyfully experience the best of both worlds.

So enjoy lulls periods as tiny vacations for the soul – opportunities for self care, rest, and reflection. Enjoy the waves of movement during an action phase, knowing the energies are supporting you to accomplish a great deal. Know that your guides, helpers, and highest self are always there to help you get the most out of both and appreciate the unique benefits of each stage. ~Archangel Gabriel

Johnson & Johnson, an American multinational corporation that specializes in developing medical devices and selling pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods, has been ordered to pay $72 million US dollars to the family of a woman whose death from ovarian cancer was linked to her decades-long use of the company’s talc-based Baby Powder and Shower.

The decision was made last Monday by a Missouri state jury, and The Globe & Mail has shared details of the verdict:

Jurors in the circuit court of St. Louis awarded the family of Jacqueline Fox $10-million of actual damages and $62 million of punitive damages, according to the family’s lawyers and court records. . . . Johnson & Johnson faces claims that it, in an effort to boost sales, failed for decades to warn consumers that its talc-based products could cause cancer.

Make your choices in the moment. Pay attention to ways you can create joy and peace each step along the way. Know that each door that closes will open new possibilities.

Having gratitude for every person and experience you encounter will help you to grow and to have the courage to move forward with ease. Releasing fears along the way will make your goal of a fulfilled life more awesome than you can imagine.

You already have everything you need within yourself to accomplish whatever your heart desires. You need not give over your power to leaders or gurus. You simply need to have the courage and desire to move forward. The ethers around you are filled with infinite possibilities. Addiction is undoubtedly something that has plagued our society. It seems you can’t really go anywhere and find someone who has not been affected in one way or another by it. Whether it be, ourselves, that has struggled with it or a family or friend, everyone who has been in touch with the monster of addiction can agree on one thing… it isn’t easy to overcome.

Addiction comes in varying degrees, from the person who can’t quite throw out the cigarettes once and for all to the person who is spending their last dollar trying to get their next fix. And it is the various shades of gray in between these two extremes that most people find themselves. Unfortunately, many people believe that they would have to be lying in an alley way with a needle hanging out of their arm before they would be willing to admit they were addicted to something.

“Is the purpose of the TV ad to make you an informed consumer?” asks Noam Chomsky. “The purpose of the ad is to delude and deceive you with imagery so you’ll be uninformed and make an irrational choice.” 

In October of 2011, the American Academy of Pediatrics issued a warning, advising that children under the age of two should not be exposed to television because it can lead to developmental disorders, delayed speech and sleep problems. Similar concerns have been raised regarding tablet use. Despite that, Media Watch founder Ann Simonton found that advertisers “start targeting children at 9 months. They’ve noted that, by two years old, they can achieve brand loyalty and recognition.” This is especially concerning when we take into account subliminal messaging is unregulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) not only in advertising, but television and film as well. The Internet has recently come under scrutiny too. We are basically being brainwashed as babies and it continues throughout our lives.

While a small minority has long been singing the praises of medical marijuana, until very recently it has been vilified by the mainstream. Portrayed as a dangerous, gateway drug that kills brain cells [1] and causes untold ills, this natural herb is slowly emerging from the cloud of propaganda and being seen in a more accurate light.

In the United States, cannabis has been criminalized at the Federal level by implementation of the Controlled Substances Act. This Act classifies cannabis, a natural herb, as a Schedule 1 drug—this is the strictest classification, on par with heroin, LSD and ecstasy. For a long time this rigid legislation meant that it was virtually impossible to conduct studies on it without breaking the law. Today the climate is slowly shifting and we are gradually seeing changes to some of the legislation that has long stifled research. While not much has changed at a federal level, at a state level legislation is being amended so that medical marijuana is no longer criminalized. Currently in the US, 21 states have legalised marijuana for medical purposes.
