Fall In Love
Fall In Love with yourself-
with your spouse, with your friends
Fall in love with the absence of conflict-
with the process of understanding another point of view
Fall in love with this very moment-
with the lessons it contains, the experiences
Fall in love with the energies swirling around you-
with the tingly effervescent sensations, the excitement
Fall in love-
Fall deeply and hopelessly in love
As I have with you~

Ron Van Dyke: Marriage Of Head And Heart
(note: First, I want to thank everyone who joined us for our meditation via tinychat last night. Auditory glitches aside, your presence was greatly needed and appreciated. It was a bit quieter and more subdued than our usual get-togethers.
I found myself feeling still and centered and completely without words. Even written words were far from my grasp. This morning, the disconnect is still felt.
Recently in our meetings at the Galactic Free Press, we've discussed the beginnings of these new language inadequacies. It's simply an evolutionary shift for us; one in which true communication now includes images and "feelings" for which there are no words. But keep trying, keep expressing yourself - perhaps through a new artistic expression. We DO comprehend your full meaning, it IS coming though. Our limited language is a vehicle that carries with it all your thoughts and intentions. We can see your heart and the love pouring out.
It seems our friend Ron Van Dyke has also been affected by this, as his video blog reveals. What comes across louder than his words is the prevailing sense of peace and love. Peace and love...

Natural Remedies: Sweet Flag
(editor's note: Sweet Flag [also known as calamus] is an antispasmotic used to treat gas, bloating, toothaches and joint pain. While there are four different species, only the americanus variety is safe to use.
As more people awaken to the illusion of "modern" medicine they are moving away from pharmaceuticals and treatments that are in dis-harmony with our higher vibrations.
Through this "Natural Remedies" segment I hope to introduce you to methods of healing you may not have tried, as well as building your knowledge base so you can help others.
I have now archived my articles on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NaturalRemediesCollection?skip_nax_wizard=true#

Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus var. americanus)
Looking like an iris, the sweet flag is actually related to the calla lily. With a smell like cinnamon and a taste like nutmeg, it was even produced commercially as a fragrance at one time. It is an aquatic plant found in wild meadows and marshes.

Natural Remedies: Rose Hips
(editor's note: Rose hips [the fleshy red fruits of the dog rose and other types of wild and shrub roses] have been used for curative potions since the Stone Age. These vitamin C rich fruits can be consumed raw or cooked and provide great assistance during a cold.

The View From Down Here: Planetary Alignments Bring Positive Financial Changes & The Intrigue of Vesta
(editor's note: Sunday afternoon (tomorrow 13 May) the Taurus Sun joins Jupiter (the sign of finance). Be on the look out for some positive signs of the beginning of our new worldwide financial stability.
While we're up in the sky, the asteroid Vesta continues to intrigue astonomers with it's many "earth-like" qualities.
I'm so happy to report that news of activities happening outside and around our planet continue to intrigue more and more people!
Just a few years ago, "space geeks" were the only ones interested in all the wonderous events of our neighboring planets, stars, and galaxies. Now it seems everyone has their eyes to the skies!
The view from down here is a special vantage point, so I hope you enjoy this report and get a better understanding of how important YOU are to the beautiful Cosmos we all call home.

Natural Remedies: How Attached Are You To Illness? (Part 2)
Yesterday I most likely pushed a LOT of buttons and stirred up a host of "bad" emotions. Some people most likely projected these feelings and fears back towards me (which is ok, I understand..) and some brave superhero people actually began to ponder their own values placed on illness and disease.
As you ask those pesky "why" questions and learn so much about yourself, there will be those other voices. You know, the ones that tell you "it's all hocus pocus", "after all the crap you've done in your life, you deserve this illness", "yes, but...."
Welcome to the wacky world of doubt. Just when you think you're strong and able to try some self-healing, doubt sneaks in and tickles your ear.
Resist the temptation to become frustrated and quit (doubt wins), or to beat yourself up for letting these thoughts get anywhere near you (doubt wins).
The secret, as the Buddha says, is to embrace doubt as you would a little child, then let it go.
In other words, embrace the doubt. Say hello to it, thanks for stopping by, but now you have to go.
