OK, I know. Functioning on a low vibration is just so much easier. Why take on more, your soul in perfection, your supposed destiny when you can sit back and coast? Being inert, static… no stagnant is just so satisfyingly anti-life. It’s a rejection of life and the gift you have been given. Better settle for that. It should be enough.

Except it really isn’t. Inside every single last one of us there is a nugget of divine rock getting sharpened and shined up and waiting for the right moment to release itself in all its diamond-like glorious-ness. You’ve known all along this day would come. So why is it that still you wait?

It’s incredibly frightening, not knowing that we might fail and might be useless and meaningless after all, but that we hold such power and force of emotion in the first place! How terrifying to have known all your life that you were made for great things and will one day (because let’s face it, IS inevitable) burst forth, ripe from your cocoon and become divinity in human form.

Could it soon replace Round Up for good?

Corncob bits instead of chemicals for weed control? Sounds like an interesting, if not slightly odd possibility, doesn’t it?

U.S. Department of Agriculture research agronomist Frank Forcella has been using an air compressor to spray gritty material like corncob bits on both sides of a crop to kill young weeds without harming corn or soybeans. His method utilizing the new technology is gaining attention from organic farmers who don’t use chemicals to control weeds in their fields.

“It obliterates the weed, especially if it’s a small broad-leaved weed like Lamb’s quarters or pigweed that’s one to 3 inches high,” Forcella said. “The corn plants growing next to them are taller and thicker and can withstand the grit blast, but the weeds just disappear.”

Freedom is expansion and flow, and your ability to express yourself exactly as you wish. As you are on the planet to experience and grow, it is an essential element to the human being. We find it interesting that people will fight to have their freedom, and yet keep themselves constrained in so many other ways – through fear, doubt, separation, and all the other excuses they invent to prevent themselves from experiencing their highest expression of self.

You are the light in this universe, infinite and potent. Your pure being is perfect and guided, moment-by-moment, by your own awareness only in this present moment. You are the warm caress of love to every manifestation and each one of them becomes a playground of infinite possibility and love in your heart, the more you access this inner being.

We’ve learned to practice defining the reality in hopes that it will provide us with an understanding of it. These definitions have become belief and we create from this perspective, boxing ours experience into that small shell of beliefs. To break free of this is to be completely naked and vulnerable in this moment, a being rather than a self.

As you begin to silence these beliefs, as well as your mind, you begin to set into motion a process of pure transmutation. This transmutes all experience into pure awareness and gives much elation and flow to your expression.

God said:

You are My Heart speaking to Myself. I speak. You speak. It is the same. You think you can’t possibly think up what you and the world hear Me say, yet We are One and the same. When you are shed of ego, there is no separate you or separate I to speak or to hear.

Speaking and hearing are the same. When you go beyond individual theater, here am I. When you accept your Oneness, you erase the boundaries of yourself. I am what remains. I was never missing. How shaky it is for you to imagine that I am your wisdom and that I reside within you. You prefer that I am a Great God Who Sits on a Mountain in the Sky and Who booms responses. You prefer Me to be a Voice Who Echoes in a Canyon. You prefer Me to be an outer Voice. You declare yourself as great enough to hear Me. This is how far you dare to go.

You feel that you would burst into smithereens at the actual thought that you and I are One. Where would all your ideals be then? You want Me to exist for you to adore, yet you hesitate to join Me at the Top of the Mountain. True faithfulness to Me is Greater Faith in your Self. No longer withdraw yourself from Oneness.

What do you think of God in a human body? Not all that much. What do you think of yourself in a human body? Not much at all. Not quite a scoundrel, more misguided, more stuck in a human body, yet this is another idea of yours, that you are stuck, limited, bound, incapable of wonders when you as I encircle the moon and beyond, aye, into Infinity.

Deforestation is stripping the Earth’s forests at an alarming rate, and this includes more than 100 plant, animal, and insect species (daily) as well. We are talking about massive amounts of land area that forests are supposed to cover. We are raping the Earth, with swaths the size of Panama being lost each and every year. At the current rate of deforestation, the world’s rain forests could be completely gone within the next one hundred years, and that’s not a very long time at all. According to the National Geographic, seventy percent of Earth’s land animals and plants live in forests. We’ve destroyed millions of acres of forest in the last century, mostly due to human activity. It’s long past the time for us to question what it is we are doing here, and it seems that more people are doing that every day, which is great to see. (source)

Final Call

This title speaks to the opposing ambitions of two forces at large on our planet. Those which work towards the realisation of a great vision – and those which work towards the annihilation of all vision.

Although they stand at diametrically opposite extremes in the process we call ‘life’, their presence is increasingly felt within the everyday workings of our planet.

The concept of ‘collectively realized creation’ is rooted in the collective unconscious of humanity. In all of us. It is that which informs our desire to live – and to outwardly express that desire. To express it through actions that reflect the depth and wealth of the divine sparks within each one of us.

Whereas ‘mutually assured destruction’ (MAD) – a term used to describe the East-West ‘Cold War’ nuclear missile build-up of the 1980’s – has no part in the human script; but is nevertheless a state towards which our planet is being pushed by forces that appear blind to their own madness. But then perhaps madness cannot ever recognise itself.

What I see time and time again, in parenting magazines and articles discussing whether time-outs on the naughty step are setting healthy boundaries or entirely damaging our un-spoilt little creatures of love. Or perhaps debating over how best to deal with a tantrum – to smother them in hugs and kisses or throw the cereal off the table and join in – is a desperate grab in the dark for what the new generation, or next wave of parenting techniques will look like.

Like any other meditative advice, the best way I’ve found, (apart from living it and staying as present as possible), is to keep it simple. One or two phrases are more than enough to remember in a day full of biscuit baking and leafing through the old favourites on the book shelf, and so I’ve shrunk it down into a few simple phrases… Zen style.
