Long ago my wife came up to me while I was watching a three-hour Cubs game and asked a simple question? “Why do you watch other people live their lives instead of living yours?” That insight from my brilliant wife hit me like a ton of bricks. Why was I investing so much of my own time watching from the sidelines? I pondered that for a moment and went back to watching the ballgame, saw the Cubs lose, got upset and spent the rest of the day sulking; which, of course, proved her point further. I should have done something else with my free time.
From that moment on, however, her question stayed with me and has become a part of my internal guidance system. I am now very conscientious of how I occupy my time and do my best to spend it wisely. I also teach how to do so to my clients. Thus, in addition to sports on TV, here are nine ways to check if you are living your life or someone else’s.

Known as the “bonding hormone”, Oxytocin plays an important role in the neuroanatomy of wellbeing and intimacy. It is associated with various behaviors, including social recognition, pair bonding, orgasm, anxiety, and parental behaviors. The gland known as the hypothalamus creates oxytocin, and it is stored in the pituitary gland, which then releases it to the rest of the body.
The endocrine system produces and regulates our body’s hormonal activity, and like all systems, it works in complex feedback loop; One hormonal function in one gland then triggers the function of other glands in the system. So for example, when we activate the hypothalamus it then activates the pituitary gland, which then sends signals to other glands within the body – the adrenals, the thyroid, and the gonads – which in turn, are also connected via feedback loops.

DNA of course forms the building material for most of life on the planet. It is what determines our very physical make-up. To me, it is a complex receiver/transmitter of energetic frequency. It is the very bridge between the etheric and the physical, the internal magician that receives higher consciousness impulses which it then manifests into mirroring form.
As science now begins to unlock the buried code within our DNA, it’s going to answer many of the vital questions of our time: how humanity came to be in the form it currently is, why there is such disharmony not just in our physical selves, but also the wider world. There is no doubt that home electronics have made our lives more convenient, more entertaining, and have helped us to stay better connected with those we love. Devices like microwaves and blenders have made food preparation quick and simple. Other home electronics, like televisions and DVD players, have greatly enhanced our ability to entertain ourselves. Cell phones help us to communicate with family members, and many people have forgone their landline phone service in lieu of a cell phone. Still, most home electronics equipment emits electronic radiation that can be harmful to our brain and body.
