Today We talk about what it is to be a leader. First of all, everyone is a leader, and that means you. What is a leader? A leader inspires. He appreciates. He encourages. He uplifts. He sets an example. A leader, by example, straightens his backbone, and straightens others’ backbones as well. A leader lifts his head and his heart, and others do the same.

If you are an employer, you are a leader. If you are an employee, you are also a leader. All of My children are way-showers.

It has been said that the blind lead the blind. This is meant to look squarely at leaders and leadership. The Emperor who wore no clothes would be an example. The idea is that most or all people can’t see beyond the nose on their face - or don’t quite dare to.

My interpretation is that everyone is learning and growing. There isn’t a set-ness to life in the world. Everyone is learning from everyone else and continues learning from everyone and every experience. Sometimes the King learns from his subjects. Sometimes the King’s subjects learn from the King. Sometimes the subjects may learn from the King how not to lead a kingdom. If a leader desires respect, he must be respectful. If he desires honor, he must honor.

What you desire, you must be. How you want to be treated, you must treat. King or pauper, enlightened or not enlightened, everyone is learning from life and that means everyone is learning from everyone. It is not only appointed leaders who lead. Everyone who reads My words is a leader. Everyone is a leader. Now lead in the direction you want others to go.

The energy representing how you think and communicate, Mercury, joins Mars in Taurus on April 14th where he will transit before his long transit of Gemini beginning April 30th. All seeds contain a form to be expressed, and that form may be a plant, a flower or a tree. When we bury a seed in the ground, we have, at that moment, set it free – to be that which it was meant to be. A seed only comes to life when placed in the ground. If a seed sits on a table, it is useless. It remains dormant within its own casing. The moment it is buried all natural forces quickly begin to work on helping the seed reveal its innate qualities to the world.

Humans are also seeds of creation. We came into this world to express ourselves to the fullest that we know how. We were established with our unique greatness the moment we were born. Now, we have a personal duty to ourselves to create and express our greatest potentials.

HJ: We do not see life as it is — we see life as we are.  And yet most people assume we see the world objectively.  And therein lies a great source of pain and suffering because we are projecting our thoughts and beliefs onto the world around us, believing that this is how the world is, when it is just us playing a game with ourselves.  And so we constantly fool ourselves into believing what we already believe is true, is true.  And we create our reality and then let it control us.  But it doesn’t have to be this way.  When you start seeing life as a reflection of your own heart and mind — when you understand that you read whatever meaning into situations you choose to believe, you can then use ‘reality’ as a tool for self-reflection and growth.  This is one of the most powerful shifts you can make because it switches you from a victim into a powerful creator.  And it is how you shift your reality by shifting yourself.  And in the great article below, Nanice dives into even more detail on this subject.
